UFC star Jon Jones is reportedly facing jail time after being charged with two misdemeanors in relation to a row with drug-testing agents.
Back in April, the heavyweight champion was accused of threatening to kill an anti-doping official - while intoxicated - after they tried to carry out a drug test.
Now, according to reports, Jones has been charged with assault and interference with communications. He could be sent to a prison - for a less than a year - and fined up to $1,500. Jones insisted he did not 'threaten, get in anyone’s face, raise my voice to anyone, or engage in any form of assault.'
It is nevertheless claimed that the 36-year-old will face a virtual bond hearing in New Mexico on Wednesday.
According to a police report, acquired by DailyMail.com back in April, the UFC star was accused of grabbing the 'terrified' tester's phone and threatening to sue her and her colleague.

Jones - whom the tester thought may have been drunk - then gave the official a chilling warning, according to their testimony.
'Why you f****** people come so early,' Jones is said to have told the agent, per the police report. 'Do you know what happens to people who come to my house, they end up dead.'
Jones recently claimed that he is slated to return to the Octagon on November 9 at Madison Square Garden. 'I know it seems like a dream but it's really happening,' he wrote on social media.
The 36-year-old won the title in March 2023 with a submission win over Ciryl Gane but has yet to defend the belt.
During the incident earlier this year, the tester claimed that Jones threatened to sue them before taking her phone and recording a video.
After allegedly pocketing the agent's phone, Jones is accused of refusing to hand the device back. This left the agent 'terrified', her heart 'pounding', per the police report. She also feared that Jones might hit her.

The heavyweight eventually agreed to take the urine test. And, after the allegations came to light, Jones released a statement in which he admitted using foul language but denied threatening the agents.
'Although I was frustrated with the unprofessionalism and used profanity out of frustration it ended friendly and amicably, nothing threatening at all,' he said.
'I was actually celebrating a friend’s birthday party at my home, and I believe it’s perfectly normal to celebrate in the comfort of my own home.'
'I must say, this particular tester behaved quite unprofessionally and even breached standard protocol along with HIPAA laws. Throughout my 20 years of being subjected to drug tests, I have never encountered such an incident with a DCO officer before.'
