A family of tourists were caught being chased by an angry bison in Yellowstone National Park after veering too close for comfort next to the beast.
The video of the family of four was posted to an Instagram account called 'Tourons of Yellowstone' - which compiles instances of outrageous behavior by those the account deems to be 'moron tourists' at the park.
Footage captured the disgruntled bison charge at the family - two adults and two small children - through the trees.
The family strayed from a paved path into the trees when the visibly irritated bovid with its tails raised ran at them.
'Hailey, Hailey, stay there! Don't move. Get next to the tree, and don't move,' the father told his pink T-shirt-clad daughter.

The family ran out of the trees as the angry bison ran through and sought cover behind a tree on the edge of the path.
After the first creature ran through, a second Bison followed while the family stayed in hiding.
Once both bisons passed, the family continued down the trail, the mother holding the son's hand while the dad carried his daughter.
Commenters slammed the family for getting two close to the wildlife.
'What did these people expect, IT'S not a petting zoo,' one person said.
'Why do people check their brains when they are near wild animals. It’s mind blowing, truly,' said another.
A third person said, 'Wouldn't you be mad if you had to deal with tourons?'
Others praised the parents for keeping their children safe and getting them out of harm's way.
'That bison seemed to come out of nowhere pretty aggravated already, the dad stayed calm and so did that little girl, she’s brave and so lucky she listened calmly to her dad. Very lucky,' said one person.
While the family sought cover from trees along the path, a second bison ran across the pavement after the first bovid
'I'm very impressed by the father and daughter. She appeared to be calm and obeyed her father without question. He actually bumped the bison out of the way,' said another.
Several instances of 'tourons' have gone viral this summer including a video showing a group that strayed off the boardwalk and waded into hot spring at Yellowstone.
Yellowstone hot springs have extremely high temperatures that are either close to boiling point or even hotter.
In the video, people can be seen walking through the thermal mist while picking things up from the ground.
The tourists risked being badly burned or being overcome by toxic fumes by ignoring signs that stipulate for visitor to stick to the designated paths and boardwalk.
