Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid believes Taylor Swift should be putting his tight end Travis Kelce to work.
Kelce, 35, and the pop superstar, also 35, have dominated headlines over the course of the past year with their love story.
The songstress took center stage at many NFL games last season to cheer on her beau and the Chiefs throughout their journey to Super Bowl glory but this offseason has been Kelce's turn to play the supportive role.
The three-time Super Bowl winner has sang and shimmied his way through several of Swift's Eras Tour shows during the international legs of the sold-old global tour, even making an on-stage appearance himself.
However, Reid claimed the football star could be doing more than shaking it off in the VIP tent.
Andy Reid believes Taylor Swift should be putting Travis Kelce to work at her Eras Tour shows
'He can be hanging out there and be the support or the waterboy, so he can do that,' Reid said on The Athletic's Scoop City podcast.
He sent the London fans wild on Night 3 of Swift's sold-out Eras Tour show there when he appeared on stage as part of the back-up dance crew .
As the 90,000-strong crowd screamed, he even swooped Swift off her feet and carried her across the stage.
The move, like almost everything the power couple does, naturally created a media storm with fans adoring the gesture from Kelce.
But Reid brushed off any concerns about the extra attention swirling around his player as the Chiefs returned to training camp this week.
'I think it's great for him. He can handle it. As a matter of fact, I think he probably loves it to a point. I think there's a great escape for him,' Reid said of Kelce's fame while talking to hosts Dianna Russini and Chase Daniel.

Reid insisted that the three-time Super Bowl winner could handle the added attention
'I said that about Taylor, too. I mean, she comes to the game, she can kind of escape having to be the show. When he goes to her concerts, she's the star,' he went on.
'That podcast of theirs is ridiculous, so he's gotten a lot of notoriety for that,' Reid added, referencing Travis and his brother Jason Kelce's New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast.
'He's an outgoing guy. I mean, he comes into a room, he's going to light the room up. Everybody's his best friend. Until you prove him wrong, everybody's a friend,' Reid continued of Travis.
'He can handle it, it's not something that [he's] been given that he can't handle,' he insisted.
