Comedian Bill Maher launched his latest takedown of President Biden as he maintained there is 'no chance' the 81-year-old will end up as the Democrat nominee.
The host of 'Real Time' said in a recent appearance on The Rubin Report that Biden will be forced to eventually exit the race because 'pressure will keep building' - but insisted that for Democrats, there is 'still time' to turn it around.
'It does not have to be a disaster,' Maher, who previously claimed the president was 'toast' on Friday's episode of 'Real Time,' said.
It comes as a growing number of incumbent Democrats have called on Biden to step aside in the presidential race, with polls now consistently finding he is losing in key states in a matchup with Donald Trump.

Maher sat down with the show's host, conservative commentator Dave Rubin, in an episode released on Tuesday - although it appeared to be recorded before the assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
Rubin, a former Democrat who has since become a staunch Republican and supported Ron DeSantis' presidential bid, began their interaction by branding Biden's spiraling campaign an 'epic disaster' for the Democrats.
But Maher countered that hope is not lost so long as Biden steps aside, and even speculated that the left could have an easy time defeating Trump if they nominate a moderate and charismatic candidate.
'This is a great opportunity, America likes new,' he said.
'It almost doesn't matter who it is. Just someone new. The less we know about them the better.'
Pointing his remarks to the Democratic Party, Maher continued: 'Just get everybody who is not 100 years old, got a 'D' by their name, and is sort of a centrist and you can win this election. Just give us that choice.'
President Biden, 81, has stubbornly remained in the race as a number of sitting Democrats are calling for him to step aside
The comedian likened the nation's current state to a 'sitcom that has been on for eight seasons', as he joked that we 'need new characters.'
He added that although Biden appears to be stubbornly clinging on now, the 'pressure will keep building,' as Maher said he 'would put money on it that he's just not going to be the candidate.'
On his most recent 'Real Time' episode, Maher took a similar tone as he listed a number of potential replacements that he felt could beat Trump.
He began with Vice President Kamala Harris, who, as the natural heir to the top of the Democratic ticket, would 'get all of Biden's campaign money', Maher said.
'And on the issue of abortion she's a walking reminder to women that Republicans are coming for the abortion pill,' he continued. 'She won't just protect Plan B, she is Plan B.'
He also cited her history as a prosecutor in California, remarking that 'Kamala was putting criminals in jail before liberals decided that was a bad thing.'
Maher previously pointed to Vice-President Kamala Harris as the natural successor to Biden, but admitted that 'for whatever reason, she has never been popular'
California Governor Gavin Newsom has frequently been named as a possible contender, and Maher said that his biggest drawback is merely that he is 'too slick'
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer's name has often been floated for a potential run for the White House, as Maher called her a 'very attractive choice'
However, Maher noted that for 'whatever reason, Harris has never been popular', as he cited her poor performance in the 2020 presidential election primaries as evidence.
'You can count the number of delegates she won... on one hand, as long as that hand has no fingers.'
Maher then moved onto two other contenders who could leapfrog Harris at the top of the ticket, namely California Governor Gavin Newsom and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
Maher said Newsom's biggest drawback appears to be that he is 'too slick', but felt this was not such a negative trait, because 'slick is something no one has been accusing Biden of lately.'
'And at 6'3 and 215lbs, he's actually the height and weight that Trump claims to be,' he added.
The comedian also put a positive spin on Whitmer's hypothetical candidacy, saying she is a 'very attractive choice.'
He pointed out that she is a popular governor in the must-win state of Michigan, and has a number of policy achievements to fall back on including raising wages, protecting abortion rights and legalizing marijuana.
