A woman was left stunned to see her ex-boyfriend walk into the Love Island villa - with her hilarious reaction caught on camera.

Isabel Hall took to TikTok to post a clip of sister Rachel reacting in horror at seeing her former flame appear in the latest season of the saucy NBC reality TV show.

Rachel was left in disbelief after recognizing her ex, PR specialist Connor Newsum, 28, before he began cozying up to fellow contestant Cassidy Hayden Laudano.

The young woman was left visibly uncomfortable as she shielded her eyes, covered her face and squealed.

Rachel was left in disbelief after recognizing her ex, PR specialist Connor Newsum, 28, before he began cozying up to fellow contestant Cassidy Hayden Laudano 

In the clip, which was uploaded last week, Rachel sat among her friends on the couch as she squirmed at scenes on the TV.

The on-screen interaction saw Connor fawning over Cassidy as the pair cuddled on an outdoor couch at the villa.

Rachel's friend also looked stunned as they too watched nervously.

Izzy uploaded the clip alongside a snippet of Sabrina Carpenter's Please Please Please as a backing track - and presumably subtext - which included the line: 'I have a fun idea babe, maybe just stay inside.'

Overlaid text read: 'When your ex walks into the Love Island villa as the new bombshell...' 

Unsurprisingly, dozens of other social media users were quick to flood to the comments to share their thoughts on the cringeworthy scenario as one commented: 'I would be screaming, crying, throwing up, but the teaaa.'

Another added: 'The hiding behind the shirt is SO REAL.'

And a third said: 'The ROASTING that would happen.'

And, despite some questioning the claims, in a carousel photo set on Rachel's TikTok that dates back to February 2023, she shared an image of Connor holding a dog in a blanket.

Set against the backdrop of a mesmerizing beach at sunset and added overlaid text that read: 'Drives to Malibu to watch the sunset with my boys.' 

Connor, who is based in California, was dumped from the villa during episode 16 of the Love Island season when Cassidy made the decision to couple up with Rob Rausch instead. 

But Cassidy, from Florida, herself was soon dumped from the villa and it seems that she and Connor have been able to rekindle a flame. 

She recently told NBC Chicago: 'So I got into the villa and pretty quickly after - like a day after - I had to make the choice to recouple with someone.

'I did choose Rob, but I've been in contact with Connor since I've been out of the villa. 

'We didn't really get as much time as we wanted to talk inside, so we're kind of continuing that outside, and gonna see where things go.'

Both Cassidy and Connor have been dumped from the villa and it seems that she and Connor have been able to rekindle a flame

Connor also shared with Us Weekly: 'She got out and I was like, "Hey, so what's up?" We've been texting and, maybe, potentially making some light plans.

'We got along really well. We had a lot in common. We had a few conversations that were just really easy and we work in the same career field.

'We just had a lot of similar interests, [like a] love for animals. I think everyone saw that weird fishing conversation we had when I was making her grilled cheese. 

'Just random stuff like that. She's really easy to talk to. She's gorgeous and just fun to be around.'
