Delegates on the floor at the Republican National Convention Tuesday night were dancing, taking videos and photos, chanting and celebrating their presidential nominee Donald Trump.
But for one honorary delegate, the bright lights, blasting music and cheers of MAGA loyalists were not enough excitement to keep him awake: Harry was fast asleep.
Harry, sometimes referred to as Prince Harry, but actually named after Dirty Harry, is a 8-year-old Labrador Retriever who has been stealing hearts on the floor at the Fiserv Forum where GOP delegates have been gathering this week.
Decked out in his red bowtie, Harry is at the convention as the service dog for Braden Sisk from Washington state.
This is perhaps the largest political event Harry has attended to date. But this is not Harry's first political rodeo, and in a world of deep political divisions, it turns out that having Harry around helps bridge the political divide.

'I initially brought him out for functional reasons when I knocked doors for the Washington state Republican party in 2022,' said Sisk. 'I quickly found that the PR value was excellent. We had an unusually high rate of voter engagement.'
'More people felt comfortable opening the door for us. We weren't threatening,' Sisk said as Harry slept at his feet, completely unaware of the commotion around him.
Harry is a trained service dog who when not taking a quick snooze himself actually assists Sisk with his narcolepsy.
Together the pair knocked on seven-thousand doors in 2022 and spoke to close to five-thousand voters, according to Sisk.
They were campaigning on behalf of state representative Spencer Hutchins, and their efforts may have helped put him over the top.
Having Harry around also launched conversation not just with Republicans but also Democrats.
'There are a lot of good people out there, and people have a lot more common ground, Sisk said. 'They're not hard right or hard left. They're just ordinary folks who feel alienated from the political process.'

Harry has been with Sisk since he was a puppy.
While he's been out pounding the pavement to speak with voters, this was Harry's first presidential convention.
He turns nine next month, so it's not likely he will be as active as he was in the last midterms, but he's still turning heads and starting conversations.
'I might not always agree with everything that the party is doing, but it can't get better if I'm absent from the conversation,' Sisk said. Harry has been helping facilitate that.
Eventually, Harry finished with his nap and raised his head to look around at the sea of people decked out in their finest red, white and blue.
People paused to take some pictures. Others smiled warmly as they stepped around him. He remained unfazed and calm in the midst of the patriotic storm.
Harry is not the only dog stealing attention at the convention.
Tzeitel, another service dog, was decked out in her own cowboy hat to match the Texas delegates as well as bedazzled booties for Day 2.
She was there to accompany Texas delegate Albert Herrera. On day one, she also donned a bright red baseball cap and has been accessorizing since she was a puppy.

West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice even brought along his favorite accessory on stage for his convention speech, his bulldog Babydog.
The English bulldog has been a constant companion for justice in the governors mansion and at official events. With Justice running to fill the state's Senate seat, Babydog has also been along for the ride.
Justice told the crowd she had some thoughts about the November election during the dog's appearance Tuesday night.

'Babydog's got a prediction for everybody here,' Justice said. 'Babydog says we'll retain the majority in the House, we're going to flip the United States Senate and overwhelmingly we're going to elect Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance in November.'
