Olivia Dunne showed off her impressive baseball knowledge on Tuesday night as she hit the MLB All-Star red carpet with boyfriend Paul Skenes.

Dunne, a gymnast at LSU, has gotten acquainted with baseball through her relationship with Skenes, who previously pitched at LSU and now stars for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

And the social media star rose to the occasion when she was asked if she knew how to grip a fastball by Skenes.

In the interview with FanDuel's Rob Friedman, Dunne asked Skeknes if he was referring to a four-seamer.

'See, I know that,' she said.

Dunne then tried to do a four-seam grip, as Skenes lightly pointed out that she was incorrectly using three fingers.

Dunne replied that she was 'more of a splinker girl,' referring to Skenes rare hybrid pitch of a splitter and sinker.

The Pirates rookie, who started for the NL All-Star team on Tuesday, impressed in one inning of action as he recorded a scoreless frame.

Dunne was seen going wild cheering on Skenes as he got Aaron Judge to ground out for the final out of the inning.

The 22-year-old is just the fifth rookie pitcher to start an All-Star Game in the showcase's 94-year-history.

The last rookie pitcher to start an All-Star Game was the Dodgers' Hideo Nomo in 1995.

Skenes, the first overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft, has had an unbelievable start to life in the pros, registering a 1.90 ERA in 66.1 innings to date.

Dunne, meanwhile, recently announced that she'll be returning to LSU for a fifth year on the gymnastics squad.
