Ivanka Trump is pushing through following the attempted assassination on her father Donald Trump over the weekend.
On Wednesday, the 42-year-old put on a brave face to celebrate daughter Arabella's 13th birthday.
Arabella entered her teen years with a heart-shaped birthday cake emblazoned with the Taylor Swift Blank Space lyric, 'Boys only want love if it's torture.'
Once sliced open, the cake appeared to be filled with a red icing or dye to mimic blood.
Posting an image of the celebratory dessert to Instagram, Ivanka captioned it, 'Best cake for my favorite Swiftie.'

She also posted a gallery of images of Arabella, including photos from her birthday celebration, along with a gushing caption.
'Happy 13th birthday to my incredible daughter, Arabella! Watching you grow into a teenager feels like a dream,' she wrote.
'Your beautiful singing and piano playing, our unforgettable horseback riding adventures, the strength and commitment you show in your Brazilian jiu-jitsu practice and our special girls-only date nights are moments I will forever cherish.'
She finished, 'Arabella, you inspire and amaze me every day. You are a remarkable young woman and my heart overflows with love for you. Happy Birthday!'
Ivanka shares Arabella with husband Jared Kushner. The power couple are also parents to sons Joseph, 9, and Theodore, 7.
It comes after Ivanka showed off some skin when she visited the Big Apple last week.
The former First Daughter was pictured striking a very sassy pose as she looked over the New York City skyline, showing off her toned form in a stunning light yellow heart cut-out dress that apparently retails for $858 from FWRD.

It's unclear what Ivanka was doing in New York, as she had earlier been spotted enjoying some 'big summer fun' with pardoned prisoner Alice Marie.
Alice and Ivanka seemingly became pals after Kim Kardashian convinced former President Donald Trump to overturn her conviction in 2018.
She served almost 22 years in federal prison for her involvement in cocaine trafficking in Memphis, for which she was initially sentenced to life in prison.
After her release in 2018 following a campaign by Kim, she began campaigning to get pardons for others like her, serving long sentences for relatively minor, nonviolent and first offenses.
Her non-profit, Taking Action for Good (TAG), has advocated for more than 100 clemency and pardon applicants, and has helped 46 people receive second chances.
Alice's story was credited with prompting the passage of the First Step Act in 2018, a law that rewards good behavior in prison with shortened sentences and job training.
She previously told DailyMail.com: 'It means a lot to me to tell others' stories,' she said. 'It is not about the things I did. It is about the people I represent.'
The activist said that her charity work would remain a priority over her Hollywood offers – though she now considered Kim a friend.
'When I met Kim Kardashian I did not even know who she was. I did not have any preconceived ideas about her. I met her as a friend, who was advocating for me. We have a very close bond now,' she said.
'I have been actually so busy going from state to state. Just seeing the fruit of my labor, bringing communities together and restoring families. It is hard but very rewarding work.'
