'This is [the] sheriffs, they're going to kill me,' he tells his girlfriend, who refers to him by Deon, while driving the car up to 80mph. 'Bro, they're going to smoke me.'
'Just let us out [of] the car, bro,' the unidentified woman cries. 'Bro, just pull over and put your hands up. Bro, my baby is in the car, Deon, just let us out, just let us out!
'You're not thinking about our baby, bro, you're going to get our baby killed!'
The suspect, who is on parole, can be seen nervously looking around the road as she's begging for him to pull over, before telling her: 'I don't want to go back to jail, I don't.'

He was seen with his hands up through the window before wiping tears from his face.
The father then showed police his child during a brief standoff before the couple got out of the car with the mother holding the baby. The small family then embraced and the dad kissed his child on the head before falling to his knees and turning himself over to police.
Both mother and father were arrested after their daughter was turned over to a deputy, who cradled and fed the baby.
'I saw she was just crying, so I just wanted to soothe her and make sure she was okay,' Deputy Adriana Martinez told KTLA. 'It was just motherly instinct. I was glad I was there, and I was able to take care of her.'

Two of the suspects were taken into custody quickly, but the father managed to escape before being spotted driving the car in Hawthorne, where the city's police department began the chase before the LA County Sheriff's Department took over.
During the chase, the suspect allegedly came close to almost hitting a Metro bus, ran red lights and stop signs, weaved heavily through traffic, and drove on the wrong side of the road.
