Savannah Chrisley is desperately throwing her support behind Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump in the hope that - should he be elected - he will pardon her jailed dad Todd Chrisley, insiders claim.
Todd, 55, and his wife Julie, 51, are serving a combined 19 years behind bars after being convicted by a federal grand jury of bank fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion in 2022. Julie was recently granted a resentencing which could reduce her incarceration.
Savannah, 26, who has campaigned tirelessly for their early release, took her efforts to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this week, using the platform to blast the prosecution and conviction of her parents, who she claims were 'persecuted' due to their 'public profile and conservative beliefs.'
She compared their alleged unfair treatment to that of Trump during his highly publicized hush money trial with porn star Stormy Daniels - something insiders claim was a calculated move to garner sympathy from the former President with the 'end goal' of getting him to release her parents.
‘Savannah pulled some serious strings to get on that stage,' a source told DailyMail.com.

Insiders tell DailyMail.com that the real reason Savannah spoke at the RNC is because she is hoping to get a presidential pardon from Trump if he gets reelected in November
'She wasn’t just asked by Trump because she is a supporter. Yes, she is a Republican, but she used what is left of her star power and her connections to be able to get up on that stage and deliver a speech to millions.
'This was by far her largest platform. She did this solely to kiss Trump’s ass with one end goal in mind – she wants a pardon from him for her parents.’
They continued: 'Savannah knew exactly what she was doing. She has realized that there is nothing she can do anymore to get Todd out of prison and she is desperate.
'This is a last-ditch effort for her. Savannah pulled some serious strings to get on that stage.'
Savannah opened her speech on Tuesday night with her parents' prison identification numbers, telling the audience: '72600019 and 72601019, these may be just numbers to you but to me, they're my whole heart.
'These numbers are my parents' identification numbers in our federal prison system.'
The reality star-turned-podcast host went on to brand the US justice system 'two faced,' as she accused it of targeting 'Christians and conservatives that the government has labeled extremists or even worse.'
She also recalled how an 'Obama-appointed judge' in Fulton County, Georgia, had branded her parents the 'Trumps of the South,' seemingly intended as an insult, but something she considers a 'badge of honor.'
The insider claimed the story, which baffled her family members, was a calculated move to evoke sympathy from the Presidential candidate for her incarcerated parents.
'Savannah knew exactly what she was doing. She has realized that there is nothing she can do anymore to get Todd out of prison and she is desperate,' the source said
Todd (with wife Julie at the 2017 Country Music Awards) has criticized Trump in the past and once referred to himself as 'liberal' about his social views but financially 'conservative'
Trump was indicted on felony charges in the county in connection with efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in the state.
It came months before he was convicted in New York State of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to efforts to conceal payments to the porn star Stormy Daniels earlier this year.
‘Attacking the Fulton County prosecutor – the same county that Trump is facing racketeering charges – was no coincidence,’ the insider claimed. ‘It was a calculated move.
‘She said that prosecutors called her family the “Trumps of the south” – but those close to her were surprised to hear this and feel it could have been made up to draw another comparison between her father and Trump.
‘The difference is that Todd and Julie were convicted and sentenced. They had a grand jury find them guilty based on a mountain of evidence. And they were nowhere near as wealthy as the Trump family.’
Savannah ended her speech by claiming Trump's only conviction is to 'make America great again.'
'Donald J. Trump has only one conviction that matters and that is the conviction to make America great again,' she said.
Savannah has continued to fight for her parents release since they were found guilty in July 2022 of conspiring to defraud community banks out of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans.
Savannah tore into prosecutors, while GOP nominee Trump faces four criminal cases. 'She also said that people call her family the 'Trump's of the South' (seen at RNC)

The reality TV couple were also found guilty of tax evasion by hiding their earnings while showcasing an extravagant lifestyle, with both heading off to prison in January 2023.
They had their sentences reduced in September, with Julie given five and a half years in Federal Medical Center Lexington, while Todd received 10 years in a federal prison in Pensacola.
In June, Julie's prison sentence for tax evasion was dramatically overturned.
Initially, she was found responsible for the fraud scheme dating back to 2006.
But it was ruled there is no evidence of her involvement before 2007, partially exonerating her from the conspiracy.
Julie's case will now return to a lower court for resentencing, providing an opportunity for a potentially reduced prison term for her punishment over what the appellate panel called a 'narrow issue.'
On a recent episode of her podcast, Unlocked, Savannah admitted that visiting her parents in prison is 'really tough.'
In December, Todd described the 'devastating' prison conditions, calling the food 'filthy' and claiming that he was being targeted by guards for his privileged lifestyle.
In an interview with Chris Cuomo last month, Savannah claimed that her father is now facing brutal 'retaliation' for speaking out.
'Yes, the retaliation has gotten extremely worse,' she said. 'They're trying to, they're retaliating against friends of his, just in hopes that they would turn on my father for some odd reason, but it's not stopping us.'
She also said that the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and the Office of Internal Affairs (OIA) are 'currently investigating' Todd's situation.
'So for that I am grateful and I hope everything is uncovered,' she stressed.
Although Savannah has been very vocal about her father's dire prison conditions, she has not been as outspoken about her political beliefs until now.
However, Savannah and her father have both criticized Trump in the past.
Todd, who previously referred to himself as being ‘conservative’ with money but having ‘liberal views’ said the US was ‘up sh*t creek without a paddle’ in 2016 when Trump was in a race against Hillary Clinton for the White House.
Savannah branded Trump and President Joe Biden ‘liars’ in a swiftly deleted Instagram post back in April 2020.
Todd and Julie rose to fame thanks to their USA reality show Chrisley Knows Best, which premiered in 2014 and documented their day-to-day lives alongside their children.
It went on for nine season and was cancelled following their convictions.
Todd is also father to daughter Lindsie, 34, and son Kyle, 32, whose mother is Todd's first wife, Theresa Terry.
After marrying Julie, the two had Savannah, Chase, 27, and Grayson, 17.
