The family of a missing pregnant 16-year-old found her body in the woods after tracking her phone, it's been revealed.
Mia Campos, who was pregnant with a baby boy at the time of her death, was discovered by relatives around 1am on Monday.
Her family alleged the mother-to-be had left their house with Jesus Monroy, the unborn baby's father to QuikTrip at 10pm Sunday night. After waiting for hours they realized something was wrong and called the cops.
After tracking her phone, the family found her bloodied body in the middle of the woods less than a mile away.

'I found my daughter laid face down,' her father told WSB-TV. 'It was hard. I knew it was something wrong – her lips, her bleeding nose. They murdered my baby.'
He continued: 'They took everything from her, they took everything from me, and to see your daughter laid down, it's hard. There are no words for that.'
An autopsy as revealed her death has been ruled as a homicide.
Police interviewed Jesus Monroy, the father of the unborn baby boy, on Wednesday. He was arrested for lying to police officers, but have not called him a suspect.

Campos's father believes the truth will come out soon. 'Justice is coming,' he said.
Miriam Zárate, Campos's mother, set up a GoFundMe for her daughter's funeral services.
'Mia, my daughter, the girl of my eyes, my baby, has passed away with her son in her belly,' her mother wrote. 'I ask God to watch over her and her baby, now she and my grandson are in heaven with God. With all my heart.'
Police said they are not releasing details surrounding Campos' death just yet.
'So it's not just the loss of a victim but of her unborn child,' Sg. Collin Flynn said at a press conference.
'The police department is taking this matter extremely seriously, as it should, so that's why we are withholding some information now.'
