He's trimming the fat and making the most of it - by turning it into soap.
Robert Tolppi, from Connecticut, went viral after undergoing liposuction and keeping the fat in order to make his own soap from it.
The 23-year-old, who documented the process on TikTok, explained how he went on a trip to undergo the fat-removal procedure and wanted to be resourceful with his leftover lard.
'They were going to throw it away as medical waste but I asked if I could keep it,' he explained in a clip.
The content creator explained he had about 400 cubic centimeters of fat to use before buying a soap making kit as he'd 'always wanted to make soap.'

Using an at-home soap making kit, Robert heated up the fat before mixing it with lye - a strong caustic liquid - although he warned people to be careful when using it.
'Make sure you do your research before with lye - I'm not a professional at all, but you definitely want to keep the windows open and dilute it outside,' he suggested.
Lye is used in the soap making process to render the chemicals into a more usable form when it is mixed with fat.
Robert then added some vanilla oil and some rose petals to ensure that his soap would have some fragrance before pouring the mixture into a long rectangular mold.
'It smells so good,' he noted enthusiastically, panning over the soap which resembled a long stick of butter.
'I could not be more excited guys,' he gushed, as Robert took it out of the mold and cut it up into smaller rectangular pieces.
Robert then took it for the ultimate test - seeing if it would lather under water.
'It's working,' he said in amazement as he washed his hands with his human cleanser.

Many people were quick to draw comparisons to between Robert and the character Tyler Durden from Fight Club, who takes fat from the dumpsters of clinics and turns it into soap.
Robert said he didn't intend to copy the character entirely, but finds the reactions to it amusing.
'Though I wasn't drawing specifically on that movie, I found the idea of human fat soap compelling, taking the conclusions of the zero-waste movement and our society's push to recycle to the next level,' he shared.
He shared some of the reactions he's had to his human soap - and people are divided.
'It's interesting how varied the reactions to it are,' he admitted. 'Some find the video funny, while others find it outright disgusting.'
