Other social media users heaped on the praise - but the look is not for the fainthearted.

However, most recently, she was flooded with support after revealing the bizarre precaution she takes during her evening strolls

In the clip, which was shared earlier this month, Julie began by readying herself to take her dog - French bulldog Gus - for a walk.

She pulls on her sneakers before then reaching for a $399 radiant LED mask by SunHome Saunas.

The high-tech accessory covers her entire face in a sheath of white before she steps outside to activate it during the nighttime adventure.

Julie's entire visage is then lit up with an ominous red glow which gives her an entirely new sinister form.

Her overlaid text read: 'If you are going on a walk when it's dark out and you get a little nervous buy a red light face mask.

'No one will bother you and you'll have better skin.'

To complete the light-hearted clip, she added a backing track of Good to Go by Daphne Willis and LÒNIS.

Julie's choice of mask promises that it 'amplifies natural collagen production, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, eliminates acne, reduces pigmentation and redness, and promotes healthier, younger looking skin.'

One wrote: 'Best thing ever... scare them away before anything can happen lol.'

Another added: 'This is genius! Skincare and protected by Purge level scare factor!'

And a third simply suggested: 'Put it on the back of your head. Even more scary and you can still see.'
