She showed off her playful side as she took to social media to share the blooper.

In the clip, Teagan thought she was off-air because a producer told her she was 'clear,' so she threw her mic up and said, 'Thank you!'

However, the reporter was still live.

She captioned the video: 'Producer in my ear: "You're clear." In reality we were in fact NOT clear... so I hope y'all enjoyed my mic spin.'

People on the web flooded the comments section and praised the reporter for her twirling.

One person said: 'I think this just became your standard sign-off! Legendary.'

Someone else added: '10/10 mic spin honestly.'

One user commented: 'That is fantastic. More of this.'

'This is HILARIOUS, also, quite athletic!' another wrote.

'Awesome. Could have been so much worse,' a fifth person said.

'This is great,' one comment read.

While speaking with Today, the reporter revealed she was grateful she didn't do anything embarrassing when she thought she was off-air.

She added that she tended to do the mic spin to get her nerves out.

'I'll just do what I usually do, toss my mic in the air. Or sometimes I'll spin, or, I don't know, toss my mic. It's just getting the energy out after I just went on live TV and everything,' Teagan said.

'I had no idea that happened on live TV. They didn't tell me afterward, like the director or my producer in my ear weren't like, "Oh, by the way, Teagan, everybody just saw that," so I had no idea.'

Teagan added that she was a 'big fan' of sharing her bloopers online.
