Vice President Kamala Harris stepped out for ice cream in Washington, DC on Friday, making a surprise public appearance as Democrats weigh the future of her political career.
Harris visited Smize & Dream, a new Washington, DC pop-up location for an ice cream brand created by America's Top Model star Tyra Banks.
The vice president got the 'Cap Hill Crunch' flavor, an experimental flavor. The recipe includes cereal-infused cereal, toffee crunch and cereal milk-soaked French toast pieces.
Harris made her public appearance as Democrats continue pressuring President Joe Biden to give up his bid for reelection.
Speculation about Harris' future has also ran rampant in Democratic circles as she tries to reassert herself as Biden's natural successor.

Previously, Harris had nothing on her public schedule although she held two campaign events earlier in the week.
The ice cream trip took place just prior to a call with major Democratic donors on Friday afternoon, according to the New York Times.
The purpose of the call is for Harris to address 'urgent, emerging needs' for the campaign, according to a letter from Democrat mega-donor Reid Hoffman, during a 'a rapidly evolving environment.'
Although Vice President Harris is technically Biden's successor, some believe she is not the best candidate to replace Biden.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez told supporters in a video she published to social media late Thursday that the 'coconut-pilled' supporters of Harris should not assume that the vice president would take her place.
'I'm just going to say it. If you think that there is consensus among the people who want Joe Biden to leave that Kamala, that they will support Kamala, Vice President Harris, you would be mistaken,' she said.
But on Friday, Harris appeared ready to take a break from the political drama. She brought her grandnieces, Amara and Leela along with her to sample the designer ice cream.
'Get ya booty in line!' Banks wrote on Instagram on Thursday to announce the opening of her shop. 'First 202 guests receive a free ice cream & yummy surprize!'

Banks coined the term 'Smize' to describe the task for models to smile with your eyes.
It's unclear whether Harris got in line quickly enough for free ice cream, but she visited the shop and spoke with Banks.
Banks told the girls that as a child, she used to go with her mom to an ice cream shop every Friday where they would sit in the car and talk about their dreams.
'My mama and I have been obsessed with ice cream for forever. And now -- I got me some big ice cream dreams with Smize & Dream,' she wrote on Instagram.
