Xander Schauffele spent multiple majors agonizingly missing out on victory. Now, he has two in the same season - and wife Maya was by his side for both.
The American clinched his second major of his career - and 2024 - by holding off Justin Rose at the 152nd Open Championship at Royal Troon Sunday afternoon.
As the 30-year-old exited the 18th green ready to be crowned Champion golfer of the year, his wife Maya was waiting to embrace him alongside his mom and dad.
She emotionally hugged her husband with tears of pride in her eyes after watching him triumph at Troon.
Here, DailyMail.com takes a look at their relationship...

Maya Lowe graduated from the University of California in 2017.
She went on to complete a Masters in Health Care Administration/Management at the University of Maryland.
Golfweek, citing a now-deleted LinkedIn profile, reported that she was working for Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest.
Schauffele has been married to his wife, Maya, since 2021 but the couple have known each other for far longer.
Maya met Xander at college in 2014 - and the two decided to tie the knot at their home in Las Vegas 2021.
According to Golfweek, the pair met while he was playing golf at SDSU, with Maya a student nearby at UC-San Diego.
And Maya has been by her husband's side throughout his career, as she was seen arm-and-arm with him in Louisville after his victory at the PGA Championship and was once again waiting to embrace him as he exited the 18th green at Royal Troon Sunday.
She also traveled with him to the Ryder Cup in Rome last year.
The University of California was also at Valhalla for his PGA Championship victory

The couple have not welcomed any children together. However, they are proud paw parents to two dogs.
They first brought home a French bulldog — Chewie — in 2019 before also welcoming Momo.
Both canines were at their wedding with Chewie donning an adorable fake tuxedo, whole Momo looked cute in a white-ribbon bow.
Schauffele's PGA Championship was his biggest achievement until this weekend's triumph at Troon, as it marked the first major win of the golfer's career.
However, he had been close on several occasions with six top-five finishes in majors - including runner-up finishes in The Masters and British Open respectively.
Schauffele has a total of eight PGA Tour wins, including the Tour Championship in 2017 and the Scottish Open in 2022.
He also won the Ryder Cup with Team USA in 2021 and won an Olympic Gold Medal for individual play the same year.
