Footage of Caitlin Clark battling it out with Kelsey Plum in the WNBA All-Star Game has gone viral on social media - with fans mocking the USA point guard for getting 'cooked' by her younger rival.
Clark helped Team WNBA get the better of USA Basketball in Saturday's All-Star Game, with the Indiana Fever sensation racking up 10 assists on the night - the most ever recorded by a rookie in the showpiece.
It proved a disappointing night for Plum as the Las Vegas Aces star and her Olympic teammates slumped to defeat just over a week before their opening fixture at this summer's Paris Games.
And if the 117-109 loss wasn't bad enough, a video of her losing a battle with Clark on the court has gained traction online in the wake of Saturday's game.
In the clip, which has 5.4 million views on X, Plum can first be seen trying to play an aggressive defense on the Fever rookie as they go head to head in the first half.

Yet after she played a pass into Aliyah Boston, Clark then manages to lose Plum before taking the ball back from her Indiana teammate.
She then threaded through an inch-perfect pass straight into the path of Boston, who made a simple bucket from inside the paint.
A fired-up Clark let out a passionate cheer after recording her latest assist in the game, which helped the WNBA All Stars prevail in the end.
However, users were quick to mock Plum on social media after her aggressive tactics backfired.
One wrote: 'The facts that they feel she needs to be played like that in an exhibition games (still gets cooked) means they have already lost'.
'Playing that hard in an all star game and still getting cooked,' wrote another along with a laughing emoji.
A third said about Clark: 'They are only making her better'.
While another simply said: 'When playing aggressive defence dont work on CC with all star team mates lol'.

Clark enjoyed a successful first All-Star Game in Phoenix, even burying the hatchet with rival-turned-teammate Angel Reese at one stage of the second half.
Clark and Reese, who are battling it out for this year's Rookie of the Year award, put their feud to one side and combined to great effect when the former went on a mazy run before spotting her teammate in acres of space.
She then threw a dime into the path of Reese, who coolly made the bucket to increase Team WNBA's lead on the night.
After linking up brilliantly, the duo produced an iconic image by sharing a high-five before continuing with the game.
