And Just Like That, Sex and the City fans in New York have been left baffled by fake filming notices being posted all around the city.

The bright-colored signs, which feature a handful of bizarre storylines, have been spotted in various locations around Manhattan - leaving regular viewers both amused and bemused.

Several of the hilarious plotlines on the posters have been shared online, all of them from the production company Next Tuesday Productions.

'After getting hit by a Citi Bike, Carrie retains Fletcher Reede (Jim Carrey) from Liar Liar as her lawyer,' read one notice, posted on July 20.

'Carrie goes on a bad date with Mr. Bean (the character) and then accidentally sends him a nude,' read another, while someone else posted a notice which read: 'Carrie buys a severed horse head so she can "do a godfathers."'

But it did not stop there as another read: 'At brunch with the girls Carrie reveals that she is Garfield the cat.'

While the author of the hilarious notices has not yet been identified, it is reportedly causing confusion with the production team as they film the third season of the series.

'I'm friends with a locations manager on And Just Like That and these signs are creating some real chaos lmao,' one user posted, along with pictures of the fake flyers.

But the notices aren't only limited to the Sex and the City reboot with one user on X, formerly known as Twitter, posting pictures of other posters advertising the Untitled King of Queens Reboot.

'Doug (Kevin James) dies when Queen Elizabeth dies because of an Elliott/E.T kind of thing,' the notice read.

Season 3 of And Just Like That is slated for 2025 and began filming earlier in May in New York City.

The next season, which streams on Max, will add a number of new cast members into the mix, including Rosie O'Donnell, Mehcad Brooks, Jonathan Cake and Logan Marshall-Green.

The reboot series to the hit show Sex and the City premiered on Max in 2021, and follows Carrie (Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they navigate friendship and family in their 50s.

The cast also includes Mario Cantone, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson and John Corbett.

Late last month, SJP was seen on set with John Corbett, who is reprising his role as Carrie Bradshaw's love interest Aidan Shaw.

At the end of season two, Carrie and Aidan called off their relationship again as he left to go to Virginia to care for his son for the next five years.

The series, which is set years after the original Sex and the City series, also brought closure when Kim Cattrall made a minor appearance in the season two finale.

Although she filmed her scenes separately from the rest of the cast following her real-life falling out with Parker, her character Samantha Jones caught up with Carrie over the phone.

Despite Cattrall's absence from the series, both Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis both reprised their respective roles as Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York alongside Parker.
