Rapper Blxst posts shock video of thieves breaking into his home with his two young children inside - as star reveals terrified son's call saying 'bad guys are in the house'

Rapper Blxst posted a shock video of thieves breaking into his Encino home last week while his two young children were inside.

The musician, 31, who was away at the time of the home invasion, shared a harrowing security clip of three masked men entering his back yard in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

One of the men was seen smashing a window before all three broke into the home.

The men - all wearing hoodies - were later captured on camera fleeing the scene after the children's nanny confronted them and called the police,

The crime occurred at about 2:50 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, per NBC Los Angeles.

The star revealed his terrified son had called him amid the home invasion

The suspects fled the scene and arriving officers took a burglary report. It was unknown what items, if any, were taken.

Blxst wrote on Instagram: 'The level of strength it take to not crash out rn smh. Imagine being across the country away from my family during one of the heights of my career & waking up to my son face timing at 4am saying “I think bad guys are in the house” 

'Words can’t express the frustration & the emptiness in my heart and soul not being able to be there to protect my boys. 

'God know my heart… why play with mine? 

'I take pride in being humble and pure but to be honest idk who to trust I’m just glad my family good overall. Thank GOD I’m in position to go to war and willing to die behind mine... PRAY FOR MY FAMILY.'

Blxst - real name Matthew Dean Burdette - was across the country promoting his debut album, I'll Always Come Find You.

The star is known for his 2020  debut EP No Love Lost which spawec the hit single Chosen (featuring Tyga and Ty Dolla Sign).

He released his debut mixtape Before You Go in 2022.
