A man's portrayal of a 'human tow bar' was a massive fail after he had an unfortunate fall while trying to get his boat out of the water.
The man and an acquaintance were attempting to lift a motorboat out of the water when he was pulled from the vessel and onto the trailer hitch.
Although the 'human tow bar' may have thought the plan would work, the motorboat slid off the trailer almost immediately after the driver pressed the gas pedal.
Florida traveler Jessie Lucas took a video of the boat incident and posted it on Instagram yesterday.
The unidentified 'human tow bar' and the motorboat appeared to be okay after the clumsy tumble.

The attempted boat towing happened at an RV resort in Crystal River.
Various resort guests witnessed what happened, and Lucas hinted that more than one traveler took a video of the incident.
At least one guest was shocked, while others either laughed or watched the motorboat mayhem.
Lucas posted another video showing the aftermath of the motorboat failure, and an unidentified resort guest helped ensure the vessel was correctly on the trailer.
The man demanded that a resort visitor named William help him ensure that the boat was attached to the trailer.
He told William to hold onto the rope that was tied onto the boat so that the driver could back the boat up into the water without damaging it.
'Unfortunately, the boat slid off the trailer again into the water without a 'human tow bar.'

It can be challenging to move a motorboat back onto a trailer properly.
However, it appeared the boaters were taking the necessary steps to get their vessel out of the water and onto the road.
The vessel was on the trailer, but instead of a rope or cable, the boaters tried to use a human to pull the boat out.
It's also better to shut off the boat's engine before attaching it to a trailer to prevent damage.
The guest also did the right thing by helping the driver back the boat into the water.
It's best to back the trailer in far enough so that anyone can step onto dry land behind the vehicle that tow the vessel.
This would also help attach a bow line to the boat and make it steady when towing it out so that it doesn't slip or fall off the trailer.

Instagram users could not get enough of the funny video, but one person pointed out that the 'human tow bar' idea could've worked.
'The sad part is that it would have worked if the driver didn’t floor it,' the user wrote.
'The driver has to floor it because it’s really hard to get traction when the wheels are underwater. However, they literally had rope right there on the boat,' commented another user.
'You can see it flop around when the boat hits the cement. Definitely could’ve used that rope to get it up to dry land and then troubleshoot the crank wheel for actual driving. Must be their first day on planet earth.'
