Kylie Jenner is being roasted on social media after dropping a swimwear collection not long after her namesake bathing suit line failed miserably.
When the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star announced she was launching Khy Vacation Shop with 'buttery soft swim with 90s-inspired silhouettes,' her followers were not convinced it would be different from her previous swimwear line.
The 26-year-old billionaire launched her swimwear line in 2021 and social media was flooded with scathing reviews panning the poor quality of the pieces, which were described as practically see-through.
Earlier in July, the reality star shared the news on Instagram that she would be releasing another swimwear line through her new brand, Khy, and immediately received backlash in her comments section on TikTok and YouTube.
The collection is receiving extremely mixed reviews, and while some people like it more than Kylie Swim, others wonder why she feels the need to keep creating swimsuits.

In Kylie's Instagram comments section, the reception from her 398 million followers for drop 008 of Khy was quite negative.
'Wasn't her last swimsuit line terrible? Why would anyone buy clothing from her?' one commenter questioned.
Another person begged the mom of two, 'Please not again with the swimsuits girl.'
'I think the internet is still traumatized from Kylie Swim,' one person remembered.
'So you had leftover Kylie swim stuff or what?' a commenter questioned.
Multiple people pointed out that the swimwear was only flattering if people had Kardashian physiques, with one writing, 'This looks so cheap and flat on regular bodies (like mine).'
Plenty of people wondered how it would be any different from the failed swim line, with one questioning, 'I don't understand how is this gonna be any different than Kylie Swim since she still hasn't addressed it… different manufacturer? Different materials?'
Swimwear designer Jessica Anderson, 30, shared a TikTok trying on the collection and calling it a 'swim fail' that 'just keeps getting worse' after Kylie Swim.

Jessica, based in Austin, Texas, tried on the one-piece and joked that her whole body would be out and the bottom would look like a baggy diaper.
Jessica then tried on the tankini corset, which she had difficulty fitting into and said she thought they used Kylie's waist size as the model and even needed someone to help her get into it.
The swimwear designer summed it up by saying, 'You failed again, Kylie.'
YouTube creator Mia Maples, 25, weighed in by sharing an almost 20-minute honest review of Kylie's swimsuits, telling her 4.4 million subscribers: 'Kylie Jenner has decided to dive into swimwear again after the incredible flop that was Kylie Swim.'
Mia, who lives just outside of Edmonton, Canada, previously reviewed Khy's three other collections.
'They're really not that cutting edge,' Mia said, calling the swimsuits 'pretty basic,' and explaining that most of the items have not sold out.
Mia pointed out that the new swimsuits were lined, the stitching was better, and the gusset was larger, but she preferred that tops had a layer of padding and she looked for bandeaus that didn't pinch.
She did compliment the 'buttery soft' material, but said the top slid up since she didn't have any 'boobage.'
Mia said she could actually see herself wearing these swimsuits, unlike Kylie Swim, which she previously bashed and kept for comparison.

The San Antonio, Texas native tried on the corset swimsuit top and said she was no longer being gifted by the brand after being honest about inconsistent sizing and fit in the past.
Stella said she was glad she sized up, and compared it to Kylie Swim - which did not have plus sizes, but still showed plus-size models on the website.
'I don't want to be too nitpicky,' she said, before showing off the fraying on the corset, although she ultimately thought it looked good, despite the microskirt showing off her bottom.
Stella and Jessica weren't the only two women who took issue with the swim corset.
On TikTok, Leah Rodriguez shared a video and wrote, 'I should have known better,' showing a video of her corset already fraying.
'Thanks Kylie Jenner for round 2 of s**t swimwear,' she wrote, displaying the plastic boning already coming out of the unworn swim corset.
