A Las Vegas family court judge has been slammed for a series of foul-mouthed outbursts that were caught on camera.
Mary Perry admitted to violating the Nevada Code of Judicial Conduct following fury from those in cases she presided over.
In some scenarios she tore into parents and even told one that she would take their child home herself due to their incompetence.
The judge has agreed to consent to a public censure and could face a 30-day unpaid suspension, court documents show.
Mary Perry has admitted to violating the Nevada Code of Judicial Conduct, which requires the honorable judge to comply with the law, perform all duties fairly, avoid bias, and maintain decorum
'Your children deserve a hell of a lot better than both of you,' she told a set of parents during an August 2022 hearing.
'I'm going to take her home with me! And neither one of you will see her. She deserves better than what she's getting.'
She later asked one of the parents during a discussion about mental and physical health: 'Are you psycho? That's a yes or no.'
Perry faces a 30-day unpaid suspension, which has been suspended for one year due to being on probation.
While on probation, Perry will not be allowed to violate the Nevada Code of Judicial Conduct and will have to complete a judicial remedial training at her own expense.
Perry has been known to shout angrily at participants, lose her temper, and show clear bias in previous rulings. 'Are you psycho? That's a yes or no,' she asked a litigant when discussing mental and physical well-being
The training is be tailored to her wrongdoings and focus on relearning proper court demeanor, rectifying bias and prejudices, performing duties fairly and more.
Perry has been known to shout angrily at participants, lose her temper, and show clear bias in previous rulings.
She also allegedly 'slammed her hands on the bench' during the August 2022 hearing, before yelling at one of the parents: 'BS! BS! Because I've got the order right here in this computer!
'This is not your home! This is my home! You will respect what I am saying...You are not the boss here, do you understand?' court documents said.
She also criticizes one of the parent's fine art degree, stating: 'Why would you do that? You can't support your family on fine arts.'
When Perry was asked by the commission about her behavior in that instance, she admitted her emotions and conduct were 'probably not as well as I could have been.'
In a separate case, Perry commented how she would have ruled against one of the litigants if the case had gone to trial because her 'duty' to prevent fraud from being perpetuated in the court, documented said.
She said she felt compelled to make her comments on the record due to a fear one of the litigants would 'perpetuate a fraud' in a subsequent bankruptcy court, the court documents said.
During a later hearing, the judge allegedly spoke in a 'hostile tone' and deprived a woman of her 'right to be heard.'
The commission ruled these cases show evidence of a 'concerning and ongoing pattern of judicial misconduct for which corrective action must be taken.'
'What both of these hearings have in common is the Respondent's needlessly disrespectful tone of voice, obvious changes in her mood, the use of profanity, personally demeaning comments about the litigants, and generally, her overall demeanor and lack of professional decorum toward all litigants appearing at those hearings,' the commission said of the cases it reviewed.
In another hearing, Perry can be heard screaming at an attorney and accusing her of trying to 're-litigate,' as seen in a YouTube video.
'Yes, you are!' she screamed at the lawyer. 'If you don't believe that, then go ahead and get a copy of the hearing. get it signed, get it up to me, and then if you want to reopen this case, you may reopen it.'

Perry provided evidence that her emotional reactions might have been influenced by medication and the commission considered it a mitigating factor, the Las Vegas Review-Journal said.
Perry told the Las Vegas Review-Journal through a spokesperson: 'I have gained new insight from my experience with the commission. I intend to use this experience to enhance my skills to preside over challenging cases and better serve families in our community.'
Several locals celebrated the news of her reprimand, with one called her a 'nightmare for a long time now.'
Another said Perry was 'disrespectful' and 'outright defiant to the law, the court, and to this state.'
'That is exactly what happens when everything goes unchecked, undisciplined, and unaccountable. You cannot even fathom what is happening with that same mouth off the bench, behind closed doors, and not an ear within shouting distance,' Monica Sims wrote on Facebook.
'She's horrible!!!!!' Rachael Cox wrote on Facebook.
If Perry follows the rules set in the public censure, she will not be suspended following her probation.
