Stephen Baldwin shared a cryptic post after his pregnant daughter Hailey Bieber revealed she's not 'super close' with her family anymore.
The actor, 58, who shares Hailey, 27 with wife Kennya Baldwin, shared a video of himself smiling at the camera before uttering: 'I love you' and staring into the distance.
He captioned the video: 'Today, staying positive is a choice !! so I’m trusting in the power of joy, peace, and happiness. Finally if anyone hasn’t told you today, I LOVE YOU.'
Fans were quick to call out the timing of the video's release - with one writing: 'Sadly your daughter don’t love you. your [sic] embarrassing her.' while another typed: 'Your daughter is ashamed of you.'
Others lauded the star for spreading positivity with one writing: 'I needed this. Thanks buddy!' and 'Stephen that felt very genuine and sincere… so gonna send some right back to you and I throw some positivity sprinkles on top.'

The pal of Kendall Jenner does not really see much of her famous family these days, she noted during her cover interview.
'I'm not super close with my family at this point in my life because I feel like I'm very independent. I'm my own individual now, and I've built my own family,' she said of being married to pop king Justin.
But the blonde added she has 'fond' memories of her childhood.
She told the magazine: 'I had a fairly normal childhood. Obviously, I come from the family that I come from, and I always recognized that that was different.
'But when I look back on my childhood and how I grew up, I have very fond, beautiful memories.'
The Rhode founder started to build her career on the catwalk towards the end of her teen years and reflected that was a time that she had to learn to stand on her own two feet while all her friends were venturing off to higher education.
She said: 'I started traveling the world, making my own money.

'That pushed me into adulthood kind of quickly, when most of my friends were just leaving for college.'
Meanwhile, Hailey revealed that she and Peaches hitmaker Justin, 30, are just trying to enjoy the time they have together before their little one arrives.
She said: 'In the beginning [of pregnancy], it was super emotional for me. Like, 'I love this human so much.
'How can I possibly bring someone else into this? I'm trying to soak in these days of it being Justin and me, just the two of us.'
Earlier this year Baldwin publicly asked for prayers for Hailey and son-in-law Justin in a Instastory, which caused concern from fans.
The Usual Suspects alum reposted a video of Justin singing, which was shared by All Things Possible Ministries founder Victor Marx and captioned: 'Christians please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them to have wisdom, protection, and draw close to the Lord.'
The evangelist had written that his wife Eileen Marx and Hailey's mother Kennya 'pray often together' for the married couple.
'There are special challenges that folks in high visibility positions face and also the enemy doesn't want them to draw closer to Jesus,' Victor wrote.
