Golf glamor girl Paige Spiranac believes the recent assassination attempt on Donald Trump could turn out to be a blessing in disguise for America.
Trump narrowly escaped death earlier this month after a 20-year-old gunman fired multiple shots at him during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Luckily, the former President turned his head just at the right moment, meaning he only ended up with a bloody ear instead of a bullet to the head.
The failed assassination attempt on Trump sent shockwaves around the world, with the Secret Service also facing questions over the colossal security failures which led to it.
Yet according to Spiranac, the incident could actually bring America closer together and help put an end to similar acts of violence in the future.

The golf inluencer told Fox News about the shooting: 'It was incredibly sad and there should never be a point where violence takes over.
'I am hopeful that this will spark a conversation [in which] you can have differences, but you can talk to one another in a way that is efficient, and we can use our words, and we can hear one another out, and we can be respectful of one another.
'I think it’s gone to a place where it’s been so hostile that we forget that we all have different upbringings and come from different backgrounds, and there are different experiences in our lives that have shaped us, and we can learn so much from [one] another that it just takes time, patience and respect.
'I am hopeful that everyone can move forward; [it] doesn’t matter what side you’re on, that we can all agree that was not ok.'
As he was rushed off stage by the Secret Service, Trump provided an iconic image when he gave his supporters a clenched fist salute in front of the American flag with blood pouring down his face.

And almost a week on from his close shave with death the former President received a huge boost when rival Joe Biden announced he is dropping out of the election race this fall.
Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to earn the Presidential nomination and run for the Democrats in November.
While he will not be battling it out with Trump for the White House, Biden could lock horns with his arch-nemesis on the golf course after their memorable spat about handicaps in last month's live TV debate.
The debate teetered off the rails as the two elderly candidates traded jabs about each other’s golf games after they answered questions from CNN moderator Dana Bash about concerns voters have expressed about their age.
Their bickering descended into Trump and Biden engaging in a standoff over their handicaps.
She is also willing to caddie in a golf match between Trump and President Joe Biden
And amid calls for a golf showdown between the two, Spiranac has thrown her hat in the ring to be a caddie if it happens.
'I haven’t seen either of them play. I would love to caddie,' she said. 'I think that would be really interesting to hear the banter back and forth.
'But I think that would be amazing for the game of golf and quite interesting. I would 100 percent tune in for that.'
