Sopranos star Drea de Matteo believes the assassination attempt on Donald Trump at a republican rally in Pennsylvania was an 'inside job.'
The actress turned OnlyFans model, 52, made the admission as she furiously criticized left-leaning celebrities for purporting to be a 'trusted voice' for the people, branding them 'embarrassing' and 'self-righteous.'
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, she said: 'I think this attempt was clearly an inside job. All these kids that are saying "I can’t believe he missed."
'A lot of people don't have a clue what's really happening and that's why there's Trump derangement syndrome. It's the level of propaganda and the twisting of information... there's no truth out there anymore. And if you want it, you must carry on you have to pick up every rock in sight.'
Trump, 78, was addressing a campaign rally near Butler on July 13 when Thomas Matthew Crooks fired shots at the former president, one of which struck the top of his right ear. Crooks was shot dead by Secret Service snipers.

Hours after the attack, Jack Black's Tenacious D bandmate Kyle Gass jokingly wished that Crooks had been successful as he blew out a birthday candle on stage in Sydney, Australia, and told the audience: 'Don't miss Trump next time.'
Discussing the fallout, Matteo - who started the clothing line Ultra-Free to support free speech - warned: 'Don't follow any celebrities, don’t have any idols. Make your own decisions. Everybody needs to learn more about what's really going on and then form their own opinions.
'Everybody is so tied into hearing what other celebrities have to say, because somehow, they're a trusted voice. And I don't know why because they're just f*****g actors. A lot of them are super f*****g entitled Hollywood folks that don't really do their homework. And that upsets me.
'I'm definitely not trying to be self-righteous. But I feel like there's so much self-righteousness out there when it comes to these topics instead of real righteousness.'
In a nod to Gass, she continued: 'Do your work, know what you speak of, know why you're condemning this person, and maybe lower your f*****g voice when you're condoning murder.'
The Emmy-Award winner, who described herself as an 'old hippie liberal' who likes Trump and RFK, also expressed disillusionment with the state of the nation.
'I mean, they the left, and I am on the left, but I am embarrassed,' she said. 'I'm also embarrassed of my country. And I'll wear an American flag all day because I am a real f*****g patriot. But I am so embarrassed by the blood on the hands of this country at this point and the karmic overload of just dishonesty and greed.'
'It's gone so far, but I really do believe in the people... I believe that we can make America great again,' she added.
de Matteo rose to fame on HBO's Sopranos (seen) for which she won an Emmy Award. She has since retired from industry and is now an OnlyFans content creator

During a recent interview on Fox News Jesse Watters Primetime, the controversial former actress claimed that there are 'a lot' of secret Trump supporters in Hollywood.
'I wonder how much these actors got paid to endorse Biden at this point,' she said. 'I am curious.'
She told Watters that the only reason other actors are not vocal about supporting Trump is that they are afraid of being condemned.
The interview came after Biden's star-studded Hollywood fundraiser, where actor Robert De Niro slammed Trump.
'It’s the Italian, man,' she said. 'We’re talking about [Anthony] Fauci, we’re talking about De Niro. I am mortified right now by my people. I don’t understand what we’re doing here,' she added.
The actress previously called Hollywood a 'freaking cesspool' after being blacklisted by the studios for refusing to get the Covid vaccine – revealing that it would take a lot for her to come out of retirement.
After it became hard for her to get work and she was dropped by her agent she turned to OnlyFans to prevent her house from going into foreclosure after coming perilously close to running out of money.
Although de Matteo has since declared she was able to make enough cash in five minutes of launching her profile to pay back her mortgage foreclosure, she said it is not 'crazy' amounts.
'People think it's crazy [the money], but it's not,' she said of her income from the X-rated platform. 'I do better with a lot of business stuff coming my way because I took a stand.
'And I think a lot of people that are in the same realm as myself have gravitated towards me and feel like, you know, want to help.'
'The level of propaganda and the twisting of information has made it so that there's no truth out there anymore,' de Matteo told DailyMail.com (pictured at the 2019 MTV Music Awards)
Her success on OnlyFans, paved the way to launch her own business, fashion brand ULTRAFREE which was born out of a way to incorporate OnlyFans and her political views.
'I'd never cared about celebrity or any of that stuff,' she said. 'So now it was like I just got pushed to the forefront of the most chaotic news spin of all time with all that stuff.
'It was just a combination of pornography and politics. So, I was like, okay, this sounds insane. How do I spin it? And we started Ultra Free. And my boyfriend makes awesome merch for his band, and he was known for his merch.
'And we were like, "Why don't we make merch for this revolution that's happening because this movement is going to need merchandise?" And that's kind of where we're at.'
