A Hollywood hunk is completely transformed with prosthetics in the official trailer for new HBO series The Penguin.
Colin Farrell, 48, is unrecognisable as Oz Cobb aka The Penguin in the clip, which offers viewers a glimpse into the upcoming eight-episode DC series based on the villainous Batman character.
The Penguin follows the events that take place after 2022's The Batman, which starred Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz.
The plot sees Colin's character Oz attempt to take hold of Gotham's world of crime.
The latest trailer opens with the main character slow dancing with his mother, who reminds him he promised her 'a beautiful life.'
Another character is heard telling Oz, 'Penguin you walk in here like you mean something, we're in the middle of a gang war'
Farrell transformed his face and body with extensive special FX makeup and prosthetics to play the iconic Batman villain
He assures her, 'I'm working on it, Ma,' before stating in a voiceover that 'the world isn't set up for the honest man to succeed.'
Oz then reiterates, 'That ain’t the way the world works,' as viewers are shown a gruesome scene of him stabbing someone and later shooting another character.
He introduces the prospect of a 'gang war' as Oz relays his strategy to 'burn down an empire from the inside out.'
In another scene the villain is in a one-on-one conversation with a young male, he says, 'America’s a hustle.'
Another character is heard telling Oz, 'Penguin you walk in here like you mean something, we're in the middle of a gang war'.
In a voiceover, Oz declares, 'The streets are talking again and there's only one man big enough to run this city'.
Elsewhere in the trailer, Oz comes face to face with Sofia Falcone, who is played by Cristin Milioti, and reveals she is 'rehabilitated' following being locked up.
A young guy later tells Oz he 'can help' him because he 'has ambition' but after what seems they team up, Oz is seen holding a gun to the youngsters head.

Rounding off the explosive trailer, Oz warns, 'Trust me, it's only the beginning' as he is seen driving a car covered in blood.
Colin appeared at Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend — where the new trailer was unveiled.
Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, and Deirdre O’Connell also appear in the series.
James Madio, Theo Rossi, Scott Cohen, Clancy Brown, Carmen Ejogo, and Michael Zegen round out the cast.
Colin pulled off a remarkable transformation for the role, appearing unrecognisable throughout the production.
Producer Matt Reeves also confirmed at Comic-Con that Colin will return for his next Batman film, which begins shooting in 2025.
Colin said: 'The lore of this world held such an attraction for me'.
Despite being 'a disaster,' Colin said The Penguin was a 'tasty character' to explore.
The show will premiere on Thursday, September 19 and will be available to stream on Sky and streaming service NOW.
