A woman has revealed her shock after discovering her boyfriend had been texting 39 different women throughout their relationship.

Dominique said she was at the end of her tether when she travelled to Stamford, Connecticut to confront her man in front of a live audience on popular talk show, Karamo.

In a clip shared to YouTube, she told host Karamo Brown that she was on a break from her partner Christopher, due to trust issues, when she learned of his extensive deception.

After receiving a call from Christopher - who is 11 years her senior - asking for help to locate his missing phone, Dominique hunted the device down and said her 'woman's intuition' pushed her to open it and investigate its contents.

'I found the text messages, it was like 39 women!' she told Karamo.

'I did write them down, I wrote the names down, the numbers down and everything' she continued.

But for Dominique, finding the texts was just the beginning because she would later go on to contact the women, and what she heard shocked her to her core.

'I contacted mostly all of them but I ended up only talking to two. The first one, the young lady she was telling me things even I didn't know about myself.

'He took her out to eat. She was telling me how they sat down and he was talking to her about our relationship.

'I was mad. I went to his job and we were exchanging words. I didn't want it to get heated because he was at his job so I left. But we gon' continue this conversation. It ain't over.'

She explained that she tried to confront Christopher before their appearance on the show but while he confessed to taking a woman for dinner, he 'denied' ever discussing their relationship.

She said she also discovered a video on Christopher's phone that at first appeared to reveal nothing untoward, however before the clip ended his hands were seen stroking the body an unknown woman.

When Karamo brought Christopher onto the show, he immediately confessed to contacting various women, but only after the couple 'were going through a lot of things' like 'financial and trust issues'.

He also revealed that he sought companionship with the women only after discovering Dominique had texted another man just two months into their relationship.

'She be on her phone a lot. She has her back turned' he added. 'She carries that phone everywhere... to the bathroom.'

Dominique reassured him by saying he had 24-7 access to her phone because she willingly gave him the password; but when she finally learned his, he changed it.

The moment of truth came at the peak of the programme; Karamo's famous 'Unlock the phone' feature which enables suspicious partners to collude with show producers to unearth hidden secrets buried deep in their lover's phones.

While awaiting the results Christopher affirmed he had nothing to fear, although his sweaty forehead and twitching eyes said different.

Karamo announced that Christopher's phone showed he had never texted other women, harboured explicit photos of any, or contacted them via social media - leaving both the audience and Dominique utterly incredulous.

But what he shared next was even more distressing.

'Christopher you have four separate phone-cleaning apps and my phone investigator said he's never seen anyone with that many downloaded on their phone before.'

The host informed the audience that phone-cleaning apps served the purpose of 'swiping' and cleaning 'everything over [in your phone] one, two, three, four times over so that we wouldn't be able to find anything'.

After a round of expletives from Dominique, Christopher said the apps were installed to counter a number of viruses that had been invading his phone.

'So I'll be honest with you,' Karamo interrupted. 'When I saw that you had four cleaning apps I told my producers to reach out to the 39 women'.

Christopher began sweating profusely when he learned that Karamo had invited one of the women - the one he had taken to dinner - to the studio the same day.

Again Christopher said he had nothing to fear because he had long ceased all communication with the women.

Karamo then admitted the joke was on them as there was no such guest booked for the show. He said he only suggested it to catch Christopher out.

'I was just being a little messy,' said Karamo. 'At the end of the day communication and transparency in this relationship is broken.

'By you having apps on your phone, you having apps that delete stuff, you not giving her your password... all it does is re-trigger the issues that you're having.'

Things ended on a positive note when Christopher turned to Dominique to tell her: 'I love you... this is a special day for us because it's our anniversary.... I'm going to give you my password'.

Karamo Brown, 43, is perhaps best known for his role as the 'culture and lifestyle extraordinaire' on Netflix's Queer Eye reboot.

But nearly 15 years before that he became a streaming star and made history when he was cast as a member on The Real World: Philadelphia in 2004.

Now two decades later, his hit series the Karamo Show has become hugely successful, attracting over 1 million subscribers on YouTube.

And although the Texas-native is known for giving his guests a hard time, he revealed he had his own 'punked' moment in 2006 when he was told he had a ten-year-old son.

It was a shock in more ways than one for the Queer Eye star - who came out as gay aged 15 - when he was subpoenaed for back child support totaling $230,000, over his son Jason.

In an excerpt from his memoir Karamo: My Story Of Embracing Purpose, Healing, And Hope on People, he revealed how he first learnt of his child.

Back when he was 15 years old, Karamo had a single sexual encounter with his school pal Stephanie Brooks, and the upshot was the arrival of young Jason.

As an adult, Karamo became the first out gay black man on American reality TV when he starred on The Real World: Philadelphia in 2004.

While living in Los Angeles two years after his stint on that show, he came home on one occasion to the sight of a letter in front of his door.

Having recently taken drugs, he was still 'in a sort of stupor' when he saw that 'On the front page was: 'Texas Attorney General's Office'.

Karamo wrote in his book: 'The second page read: 'Subpoena for Back Child Support.' I thought, Ashton Kutcher is inside my house. I'm getting punked!'

When he read further that Jason's mother was Stephanie: 'I literally spit out the juice I was drinking. Now I was fully freaking out.'

It turned out that the child support subpoena was the state's doing, and resulted from Stephanie's welfare application, not from her suing Karamo.

Karamo traveled to Texas to meet Jason after getting a paternity test, and confided in People: 'I was scared. I realized that I created this child who I had no idea about that's living there, that I now messed him up.'

And yet, he recalled: 'There's something about the first moment of seeing your child. All the pieces of me that I felt were missing got sewn up the minute I saw his face. I looked at this little fourth-grade boy, and I thought, I can do this.'

Karamo got custody of Jason in 2007, and three years after that, he adopted Christian, Stephanie's son by another man.
