The View's Joy Behar, 81, jokes 'don't call me Mrs Robinson' as she flirts up a storm with 'cute' actor Jay Ellis who is 39 YEARS her junior

The View host Joy Behar couldn't hide her delight on Tuesday morning when the panel welcomed Top Gun: Maverick actor Jay Ellis onto the show.

As Jay, 42, sat down at the table, Joy - who has become one of the raciest hosts on daytime television - was seen touching his arm as she told him: 'This sweater is gorge, very nice,' as he replied: 'Thank you, I dabble!'

'You look good,' the redhead comedian continued with a big grin on her face as Jay quickly responded: 'Thank you. You too, Joy!' but Whoopi Goldberg was quick to pick up on their flirty interaction.

'Uh oh!' the Sister Act star said before referring to Joy, 81, and saying: 'Look, she's all verklempt, I love this! With a big smile, look at the teeth!'

Joy blushed and coyly replied: 'He's so cute.'

Moderator Whoopi Goldberg picked up on their flirty interaction immediately described Joy as being 'all verklempt'

Cohost Sara Haines agreed and joked: 'I know, you don't want him looking directly in your eyes!' before Joy blurted out: 'Don't call me Mrs. Robinson though, okay!' - a term used to describe an older woman who pursues someone younger than herself.

Sara, 46, quickly moved the segment along and asked Jay about his new book, Did Everyone Have an Imaginary Friend (or Just Me)? Adventures in Boyhood, but viewers at home were also distracted by his appearance.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one person wrote: 'Jay Ellis is a cutie... I'm like Joy #theview.' 

Another posted: 'Jay Ellis is kinda cute. I've seen him in some other things #theview,' while a third person added: '#JayEllis... he's so beautiful... I don't even know what he's talking about.'

Of course, Joy is no stranger to speaking her mind on The View and has become known for sharing racy anecdotes and making raunchy comments live on air.

Just last week, she left her cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin stunned when she made an X-rated joke about former President Donald Trump.

Joy and the panel were discussing Joe Biden's July 24 address to the nation when Sara pointed out the 'contrast' between Trump and the President.

'He's literally relinquishing power, his dream, the only thing he ever wanted to do, while we have a former president who couldn't even accept election results when people said, "We don't want you,"' Sara said.

'You look at Biden listening to the rest of his party and Trump saying, "I am the party," and I just thought, "This was exactly what everyone needed," and I just hope he finally can just slow down and chill and be a dad and a grandpa,' she added, as Joy butted in and joked: 'Trump wouldn't give an inch. Just ask Stormy Daniels!'

Alyssa, 35, was visibly stunned and blurted out: 'Oh my God, Joy!' whilst laughing nervously, as Sunny Hostin commented: 'I have to get you to write my next book with me,' referring to her saucy novels.

The live studio audience were thoroughly impressed with Joy's dig at Trump and applauded her whilst cheering, as Sara quickly said: 'Pivot, Alyssa, pivot!'

Adult film star Stormy, who had an alleged 2006 tryst with the former President, has previously made claims about Donald's manhood, describing it as 'unique and horrifying,' and said their reported encounter was 'least impressive sex I'd ever had.'

Earlier this year on May 30, Trump was found guilty on all 34 felony counts in the historic hush money trial involving Stormy, 45.

Stormy brought down the former president after revealing that a $130,000 payment had been made to by Trump's then-lawyer, Michael Cohen to ensure she remained quiet about alleged sex she had with the businessman at a golf tournament a decade earlier.

During the high profile trial, the actress revealed intimate details about the alleged encounter.

She described the room's furniture and even Trump's toiletry kit as well as demonstrating sexual positions for the jury.

In her testimony she also detailed how the former president compared her to his daughter Ivanka and how she spanked him with a magazine featuring him on the front cover before the alleged sex.
