TikTok users have been left divided over Ring doorbell footage showing a mother who managed to evade a pair of burglars, but left her two children inside her home.
Leah Amberly Wittsche, from Dallas, Texas, shared Ring footage of herself outside of her home she shares with her partner Jake and two sons in a frantic state.
Wittsche is seen draped in a towel having been forced from her home due to two burglars as she frantically calls her husband for help.
She can be heard telling her husband: 'Call the police. I was in the bath, I thought you were home. These two guys walked in, I begged them not to hurt the kids.'
Wittsche can be seen clutching her dog as she shakes, but TikTok users were quick to point out why she didn't think to grab her children during the ordeal last July.

One person commented on her video, which has since been seen over 32 million times, saying: 'She was in the bath, begged them not to hurt the kids then LEFT WITHOUT THE KIDS but grabbed her dog?!'
Another added: 'So she took the dog with her out the house and left the kids?!'
While another posted: 'I'm sorry why does she have the dog and not her child????'
In another video, she explained how it came to be that she made it out of the house without her kids, and just what happened.
Wittsche said she thought the two men who broke into her home were going to murder her after they made their way into her bathroom while she was in the bath.
She said: 'I had just put my kids down for bed and I was upstairs in my house. I went into the upstairs bathroom, locked the door and went to take a bath.
'I heard a bunch of walking around upstairs like really loud stomping. I thought it was my husband.
'I thought that's weird, I had just checked his location and it said he was still at work. Didn't think much of it, I just thought his phone must not be working correctly.'

Wittsche added that the two men made off with nothing and shared footage of a smashed downstairs door showing their point of entry
Leah then claims she heard banging and someone trying the door to the bathroom, as well as shouting coming out from the hall.
She said that the door handle then broke and two men dressed in black stormed into the bathroom.
Wittsche continued: 'The guy standing closest to me looks me up and down and then smiles.
'I am in shock, I stand up and stare at them. Then it clicks, 'oh my god my children'.
She claims the man then started screaming at her and threatened to kill her should she move before stealing her phone.

After the two men fled the bathroom, she says she ran to both her son's bedrooms and checked on them.
She claims she then managed to activate the alarm in her home, before making a dash for the front door in an attempt to get the attention of her neighbors.
After nobody answered her, she then uses the ring doorbell on her front door to call her husband where she is seen in the original video begging for help.
In yet another video, Wittsche added that the two men made off with nothing and shared footage of a smashed downstairs door showing their point of entry.
She also added that the robbers left her phone behind, hiding it underneath a pillow in her living area.
