A TikToker who visited a well-known East Coast bar, was left baffled after seeing the true state of the pricey establishment.

Liv, a creator who goes by @theadviceedit on the video-sharing app, posted a short clip of the Surf Lodge in Montauk while vacationing in the summer destination this week.

She was not impressed when she passed by the bar, which is notoriously pricey and packed during peak times.

The barely 10 seconds footage showed the empty restaurant area with wooden furniture placed around.

Viewers can see a dirty white daybed with a small yellow table and bamboo sticks fashioned as a roof in the clip.

While the creator walks through the white beach house style hotel and restaurant,  known to be frequented by celebrities all throughout the summer, viewers can hear someone in the background exclaim: 'It smells like farts in here'.

The video which has been captioned 'This is where people spend 8K on a table ?!?!'  has viewers shocked and comparing it to Motel 6 and the Fyre Festival.

'I don’t understand the Hamptons hype at alllll,' a TikToker said.

While another viewer questioned: 'I wonder if they will ever use the crazy outrageous money they charge to make the place look nice.'

'I thought this was a parking flea market,' one user also joked.

'Stayed there for one night and killed 10+ bugs within the first two hours of getting there,' a TikToker gravely shared.

Another recalled: 'Every time I’ve ever gone it’s smelled like low tide.'

One viewer also revealed: 'I drove by it for the first time in 2017 and was shocked... Plus the "lake" in the background has views of all telephone poles?'
