Things got rather heated during Thursday's episode of The View as Sunny Hostin and the rest of the panel debated whether or not you should inform an ex's new partner if they've cheated in the past.
Whoopi Goldberg kicked off the discussion as she explained how one man had decided to share his dilemma on Reddit after receiving a message from his girlfriend's ex warning him that she's a cheater.
'So, did the ex do the right thing by exposing her as a former cheater? Would you warn somebody if your ex had cheated on you?' Whoopi, 68, asked as Sunny, 55, admitted: 'I want to know if somebody's a cheater!'
When Joy Behar asked Sunny if she'd want to know if her husband of almost 26 years, Emmanuel, had done the dirty, she quickly changed her tune and replied: 'If it's my husband, I don't want to know if he's cheating,' but Joy, 81, was baffled and asked: 'Why?'
Attempting to explain her stance, Sunny said: 'Because I want to live my paradise, and I want him to carry his guilt and deal with that. No, I wouldn't want to know but if it's somebody new and he's a cheater... I mean there's all kind of diseases you could get.'

Sara Haines disagreed with Sunny and said people should not be informing their ex's new partner that they once cheated
Referring to a hypothetical situation where Sunny would tell on someone for being a cheater, Joy referred to her own husband, Steve Janowitz, and told her: 'You know what, mind your own beeswax!'
'If I was cheating on Steve - God forbid - but if I was, I would not ever tell him, never tell him ever and I don't want him to know. People who do that only are trying to relieve their own guilt,' the comedian claimed.
Trying to explain herself further, Sunny said: 'That's what I mean!' but Joy quickly fired back: 'In this psycho drama you said you would tell me!' as Sunny argued: 'I would tell you if I'm the ex, but I don't want to be told!'
'Well, why do you have to open your big mouth at all?' Joy asked her as Alyssa Farah Griffin chimed in and joked: 'She's a busybody, just not in her relationship!'
Attempting to explain her point of view again, Sunny added: 'In my relationship, I think, no, I think that you have to carry the guilt of your nasty actions!'
Alyssa, 35, claimed: 'There is the theory that once a cheater, always a cheater, I take a little bit of issue with that. I think if you have certain character, you may be inclined to repeat behavior, but I also have known people who may have cheated in the past and then met the right person and were totally committed and they became a better person.'
'I also think when you're done with a relationship, be done with it. That doesn't give you energy to reach out to the other person. I've been cheated on and I never looked back at that guy again, God bless him!' the former White House Aide added.
Sara Haines then shared her thoughts on the topic and said: 'I don't think I'd ever get involved with just a stranger dating someone I dated. It's one thing if it's your best friend and you're warning someone, but that's really her journey, she picked him.'
Sunny claimed she would like to know if someone was a 'cheater' but not if her own husband cheated on her
Whoopi Goldberg watched on as the ladies, including Sara, shared their thoughts on the topic

Viewers tuning in at home were a bit confused by Sunny's comments as one person took to X and claimed she was 'living in a bubble.'
Another person posted: 'Sunny didn't make any sense on that cheating segment,' while someone else wrote: 'Exactly Joy!!! Don't be calling me telling me nothin bb!!!'
Others were just unimpressed with the segment in general as one viewer tweeted: 'That was a dumb topic. Move on,' while another asked: 'Why on earth is The View wasting their valuable time on today's busy news day on this fluff piece. I think I speak for most when I say WE DON'T CARE!'
Someone else moaned: 'This is a stupid topic. Go to commercial,' and another person admitted: 'Well that segment caused me to change the channel.'
