Celebrity chef unveils his new series that sees the hottest cooking stars of NYC come together for food and scandal

A celebrity chef has launched his new reality series, which sees the hottest cooking experts come together to give viewers a mouth-watering taste of food and scandal.

Over the years, Jesse Henderson, 34, has curated a slew of drool-worthy bites for A-listers and has taken his talents to lavish destinations as a personal chef to the stars. 

Now, after having put his culinary skills on full display on TV, Jesse is the new face of his own unscripted show that will see him cooking alongside some of the world's finest chefs as they give fans a look at what really goes on behind kitchen doors. 

DailyMail.com scored an exclusive invite to the star-studded screening of the series, Chefs and The City, which is now available across all social media platforms. 

At the lavish bash, which was organized by DIG marketing expert Kayt Bennett, guests enjoyed Filip Caviar, which retails for a whopping $285, and a table filled with mouth-watering bites.

Guests flocked to the jaw-dropping backdrop banner to get a snap with their favorite chef before they tuned into the private screening of the first episode. 

It sees Jesse going around the city to find the most delicious ingredients before meeting up with chef Wen-Jay Ying. 

'Wen-Jay has a farm-to-table bodega. She works with local farmers, sources produce and offers that for delivery,' he said before showcasing the savory bites. 

Further in the clip, the culinary hunk detailed how foodies could see the world through the lens of a chef as he boasted the various products you should look out for and chatted with other cooking pros.

While speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, Jesse opened up about everything there was to know about the show - from the creation of the scandal-infused series to the beloved chefs who would make appearances. 

He revealed that he first told his producer, Sydney Scotia, 26, about the concept more than a year ago. 

'Chefs and The City was initially an idea that I had and then Sydney and I built on the concept of following the personal and professional lives of chefs in New York City,' he said.

'We have created an experience for the audience to see the world through the lens of a chef,' he explained. 

Sydney - who starred on the hit TV show Some Assembly Required - added: 'From the very first night we began talking about this idea because of our love of entertainment.'

Meanwhile, Jesse revealed that he wanted the show to be completely authentic - adding that the spike in influencers had created a very disingenuous culture.

He told DailyMail.com: 'I wanted to create something that was authentic to me.  Nowadays, shows are focused on setting up the camera and making it very influencer-like, which is great but that's just not me.' 

The chef also said that he wanted foodies to be able to get a taste of what really went on behind the kitchen curtain.  

'When you go to a restaurant, you don't get to see the meat on the bone,' he added. 

And in true reality show fashion, Jesse assured fans that they had plenty of drama to look forward to. 

'There is definitely going to be some heat, it leaves the audience wondering what some of the relationships are beyond what they see. So there is some ambiguity, there is some sexual tension,' he confessed.

Sydney told viewers: 'Get ready for some amazing food, some huge personalities and great views of New York City.' 

Food enthusiasts can expect to see chef Gabi Chappel, who won Fox's Next Level Chef, as well as Vitor Mendes from beloved restaurant Theodora on the series.

All 30 episodes of Chefs and The City will air across all social media platforms Monday through Friday at 10am beginning August 5. 

The pro has also revealed his stunning tips to help budding chefs perfect their meals at home. 

While speaking to DailyMail.com, Jesse shared the reasoning behind having lemons in your pantry and the items you should be on the lookout for when picking up food at your local grocer.

The chef revealed that lemons were crucial to any dish - adding that he used them as 'salt.'

He told DailyMail.com: 'I love citrus, lemons are super important. 

'You can add lemon zest to any meal, I use it like salt, it's such a flavor enhancer.' 

The chef also shared that a 'good vinegar' was 'super crucial' to your meals - adding that you should pick a vinegar based on whether you prefer something more dry or sweet, but that you should always have your favorite on hand.
