Girl, 15, falls to her death after being electrocuted by power lines while taking rooftop pictures

A 15-year-old girl's photo shoot came to a tragic end after she was accidentally made contact with a power line and was decapitated. 

Chilling video clips on social media showed Debora Xi hanging out with three of her friends on the terrace of a home in the north central Guatemalan department of Alta Verapaz last Thursday.

She took a couple of steps on the terrace of the two-story residence while one of her friends takes pictures. Moments later Xi made contact with the cable and was jolted.

A second video clip showed the teenager's body lying over the cable when she was shocked as the residents screamed in horror.

The teenager's body was lying over a power line before she was jolted. The impact decapitated her, sending her head falling to the ground just seconds before the rest of her body fell as bystanders screamed in horror

The impact of the electrical discharge detached her head from her torso and crashed to the ground. 

Within seconds the rest of the body fell as the recording came to an end.

Bystanders quickly surrounded her remains before paramedics arrived and removed them.

Local news outlets reporter Xi was on her way to gymnastics practice when she stopped at the home with her friends.

They remained there practicing dances before Xi got too close to the cable and got electrocuted.

Xi's' heartbroken mother Andrea Xi, honored by posting several photos, including one of the teen wearing a traditional dress and another of her in a gown at her birthday party in March.

'I love you forever. My princess,' one her captions read.

'My first and great love,' she stated in another caption.
