Rana Reider has reportedly been ejected from the 2024 Olympics in Paris after he was accused of sexual and emotional abuse by three women.

Reider coaches both Andre De Grasse, Canada's defending Olympic 200m champion, and Lamont Marcell Jacobs, the Italian who claimed 100m gold in Tokyo.

But, according to The Times, Reider's access to the Games is being revoked by Canada’s National Olympic Committee after three women filed lawsuits against him in Florida.

It is claimed that, after the court cases came to light, USA Track & Field alerted its Canadian counterpart over the weekend.

Now, The Times reports, Canadian Olympic chiefs - who initially provided Reider with credentials in Paris - have informed the coach that his pass is being withdrawn.

World Athletics reportedly refused to credential Reider for the two most recent World Championships.

The coach recently served a 12-month probation after admitting to an 'imbalance of power' related to an intimate relationship with an athlete.

Now a female athlete has accused Reider of sexual and emotional abuse, and harassment, with a second alleging sexual and verbal harassment.

According to the Times, Reider was trackside at the Stade de France for Sunday's 100m final, when Jacobs finished fifth.

It is not the first controversy of this nature at the Paris Games. As reported by Mail Sport, Olympics bosses are looking into how a second convicted pedophile managed to participate in the summer showpiece.

It comes after the furor surrounding Dutch beach volleyball player Steven van de Velde, who was given the green light to compete despite pleading guilty to raping a 12-year-old British girl and serving a prison sentence.

It later emerged that Australian sex offender Brett Sutton, 65, was in the French capital to coach Switzerland triathlete Julie Derron to second place.

Sutton pleaded guilty to five counts of sexual abuse of a 13-year-old but managed to get accreditation via the Chinese.
