Zac Efron has insisted he is 'happy and healthy' after being hospitalised over the weekend, but it's been a challenging time for the movie pin up.
It's not the first time Zac has hit the headlines with his physical health, with drama surrounding the star since he shot to fame as heartthrob Troy Bolton in High School Musical in 2006.
This latest incident saw the actor in hospital on the party island of Ibiza when he dived deep into a pool at a villa early Saturday.
Zac had taken in 'a large amount of water into his lungs' after he made contact with the bottom of the pool.

The leading man had 'showed signs of distress' and was 'momentarily dazed' in the wake of the incident, sources told the outlet, at which point security officials rushed in to assist him.
The Ibiza accident comes 11 years after a near-death experience which saw the star slipping in a puddle of water while running in socks in his home and smashing his chin into a granite fountain, leaving his chin bone 'hanging off his face'.
Zac later told Entertainment Tonight that he nearly died after the freak injury, explaining: 'It was funny. It sucks. I almost died, but we're good.'
The movie star famously claimed the accident caused his changing appearance, which in recent years has caused a flurry of speculation that he has undergone cosmetic surgery.
Zac has always denied he has had any plastic surgery, instead insisting the masseter muscles on the inside of his face and jaw 'compensated' for his 2013 injury, leading to his changed shape.
The High School Musical star even claimed he didn't know his transformation had gone viral on social media until his mother told him about the plastic surgery rumours.
Despite all his efforts to bring truth to the rumours, Zac has been hit with a fresh batch recently after fans watched his most recent hit, A Family Affair.

In the romantic comedy, which co-stars Nicole Kidman and Joey King, the 36-year-old actor is seen with a noticeably wider jaw and stockier facial features, and viewers have been quick to point out just how different he now looks.
'Trying to watch #AFamilyAffair with #ZacEfron, but I'm way too distracted by whatever he did to his beautiful face, why would he do that to himself?' one X user wrote while watching the new movie.
In December 2013 Zac again sparked surgery rumours after wearing a pair of dark sunglasses on The Today Show, to promote his project The Iron Claw - which saw him undergo a drastic transformation to play wrestler Kevin Von Erich.
Despite some fans insisting the sunglasses look was more evidence of cosmetic surgery, Zac insisted he had an eye infection.
It's been nearly 20 years since Zac first shot to fame in the phenomenally successful Disney classic High School Musical.
He was the go-to teen pin-up of the late noughties but fast forward to 2013 and life was staring to unravel for the heartthrob.
Zac entered rehab in 2013, opening up about how fame saw him spin out of control in a raw interview with Bear Grylls on his TV show Running Wild a year later.
The actor explained his problems didn't stem from a heavy work load but from being famous. 'Pretty soon you need a social lubricant,' Zac said.

Zac has previously revealed that he fell into a deep depression and suffered with insomnia while training for his 2017 film, Baywatch
'The challenging part was never the work. That was never it. It was the sort of in-between work.'
'The social aspects outside of it, I mean everywhere you go there is press in some form. It can be everywhere and it can be confusing. You spend a lot of time in your house, going crazy.'
He added, 'It was getting to the point where I was caring less for the work and waiting more for the weekend, where I couldn't wait to go out and sort of let loose and have fun'.
'But when Monday and Tuesday were difficult to get through, then I was like, ''Ah, this is bad.''
'I just really never again want to have to take anything from the outside into me to feel good about my outside, to be comfortable in my present skin. And that takes a lot of work.

In December 2013 Zac again sparked concern while wearing a pair of dark sunglasses as he appeared on The Today Show
'It's just meditation, and stopping and slowing down your brain.'
Zac ditched the partying in favour of meditation and workouts but it was his dedication to his physical health that saw the star experience another decline in his mental health in 2017.
He revealed he fell into a deep depression and suffered with insomnia while training for his 2017 film, Baywatch.
He told Men's Health: 'That Baywatch look, I don't know if that's really attainable. There's just too little water in the skin. Like, it's fake; it looks CGI'd.'
Zac said he took Lasix, a diuretic, to help achieve his ripped look in the film which eventually took a toll on his mental health.
Zac has been open about his struggles over the past two decades, and this weekend spoke directly to the reports about his health by sharing an Instagram snap of himself working out
He added: 'I started to develop insomnia and I fell into a pretty bad depression, for a long time. Something about that experience burned me out.'
'I had a really hard time recentering. Ultimately they chalked it up to taking way too many diuretics for way too long, and it messed something up.'
