A California beer and taco festival has descended into chaos after thousands of angry food fans were left gravely disappointed by the spread.
West Coast Taco and Beer Festival in San Francisco Bay promised unlimited tacos and bottomless beer, kombucha, seltzer and cider samples on Saturday.
Excited attendees paid $50 for standard entry to the event, expecting high-quality free Mexican food from 30 vendors.
But revelers were instead greeted by a ridiculously long line for entry, no free food, and only four taco trucks - which ran out of food within just 20 minutes.
One bitterly disappointed patron blasted the event, held in San Francisco's Dogpatch neighborhood, as 'a complete and utter scam'.

'There are no free tacos, or even tacos for 'tasting' so you're basically throwing your money away to be in a small space with lots of other angry people,' he wrote in a scathing Yelp review.
'What an absolute scam and false advertising,' another incensed customer fumed - blasting the lack of free samples and 'hella long lines' for entry.
'The audacity of charging people almost $100 just to get in, and then if you want food you have to pay for it,' they said.
Another customer who said they spent a whopping $188 on two 'VIP tickets' revealed that even the taco vendors were confused.
'They were only told that morning about the free taco part,' they wrote. 'The beer sampling was maybe 2 inches of beer at the bottom of a cup.'
Matt Jenkins, who attended the event with his fiancée, told Abc7 they waited an hour in line for the infuriating event.
'They only had one person checking tickets at the front door, which was insane,' Jenkins said.
'I don't know, there were like probably over 1,000 people that were waiting in line.'
'We had heard after the first 20 minutes, all of the free options ran out,' he added. 'But no one was even able to get in by the time that was offered.'

Another reviewer blasted the organizer, Brandon Mozley, as 'a grifter'. 'Not thrilled,' they wrote. 'One-star event'.
Mozley has said he is accepting refund requests, while the company behind the event, Blue Stream Entertainment, released a statement responding to the outrage.
'We're saddened to hear about the reaction we've had coming to San Francisco,' the firm said.
'When we built this company, our mission was to bring a community together to celebrate local chefs and breweries.
'We are as transparent as we possibly can be and we understand the community's frustration with the long lines and the limited tastings.
'We are currently working with our vendors to improve future events to make sure that we hold our mission statement true and improve the guest experience.'
Angry customers have pointed out that the company is also organizing an event scheduled for later this month in San Diego.
They urged people to avoid disappointment by boycotting Brunch on the Bay Festival, scheduled for August 24th.
