The viral clip was captioned: 'Do you let your car warm up before taking it off and driving it?'

It begins with the cameraman asking each mechanic if they would advise warming up a car.

Mechanic Keith responded: 'Always. It lets the fluids warm up and circulate.'

Meanwhile, the next mechanic noted that he always followed his own advice.

He added: 'I personally do. I like to do it at least for 30 seconds or so. It really gets the oil flowing through the engine.'

Another mechanic responded, he would too, adding: 'It is, especially if you have a turbo.'

The last car pro agreed that it was best to warm up your vehicle.

He said: 'You got to make sure you warm up because you wanna make sure the oil flows [well] through the engine. It helps with making them last longer.'

According to AET Turbos, 'Oil needs to warm up before it can effectively lubricate … which means it's a good idea to take it easy on the accelerator pedal until your car has warmed up!'

Meanwhile, even the US Department of Energy advises drivers to let their cars warm up for '30 seconds.'

People flooded the comments section and praised the mechanics for their advise.

One person said: 'Yep like 30 seconds and then drive it slowly until [it's] the right temperature.'

Another user wrote: 'Yes, let that oil cycle.'

'Good video, very informative,' someone else wrote.

A fourth person commented: 'Always.'
