Woman has huge argument with USPS worker after coming to drop off packages at 4:59pm

Shocking video captured the moment a woman tried to barge through the door of a New York post office and fight with a worker in an effort to drop off her packages one minute before closing.

Footage shared on TikTok by @novavane212 shows the woman arguing with the post office employee on a rainy afternoon.

Dressed in shorts and t-shirt, the woman attempted to push past the worker standing at the door and throw her packages inside.

'That's not the time you're supposed to be here,' the employee told her. 'I came here at 4:59 p.m.,' she insisted.

The two continue to their scuffle as onlookers from the damp sidewalk defend the worker and tell her that the post office is closed.

'Missus, just come back another day missus, come on,' the employee said.

Fighting back, the employee grabbed each of her packages and tossed them towards the sidewalk. He took her trolley and threw it out of the doorframe. 

'Can you please take this? I came here at 4:59 p.m.,' the woman said. 

'We close at 5 p.m.,' said the worker.

Commenters were divided over who was in the right, with some saying the woman's behavior was ridiculous and defending the postal employee.

'What's her plan once she makes it inside? Does she think he will go back in and print her a shipping label after all that,' said one person.

'I don’t think she understands general courtesy. It is very rude to enter an establishment 10 minutes before they close,' said another.

She insisted she arrived at 4:59 p.m. but the worker told her the post office closes at 5 p.m. and she should come back tomorrow 

Others argued that because she arrived before closing time the employee should have taken her packages.

'Looks like the packages had prepaid labels so if she is there just to drop them off then why don't the employee just take them and she will be on her way,' one person said.

'Postal employee is an a*****e on power trip and she is an idiot to get physical like that.'

'Those are pre-labeled. She just wants to drop them off. Takes about 30 seconds to do so. F*****g post office,' a second person said.

'Why are they not letting her though even one minute before 5? Technically, the post office is still open,' said another person.
