A man was tackled on a Dallas highway by Good Samaritans after he allegedly stabbed a victim, ran over a nurse, and hit a Texas DOT worker following a car crash.

Angel Zamora Moreno, 26, of Plano, Texas, was arrested on Tuesday after he allegedly caused traffic on the Lyndon B Johnson Freeway to slow to a standstill for four hours while he incited horrific violence, according to NBC DFW

His alleged reign of terror only ended after a group of Good Samaritans managed to tackle him and hold him down until police arrived.

The commotion started after Moreno was involved in a multi-car crash on the LBJ Freeway around 7 am and got into a fight with one of the drivers and stabbing him and leaving him in critical condition, authorities said.

'They were going back and forth. This dude stabs a first guy. He is on the floor, and he’s screaming and yelling for help,' witness Sameer Sethi told Fox 4

In a series of bystander videos, Moreno can be seen driving a white car in circles and hitting the outside barrier, before running over a woman wearing red scrubs, pinning her underneath.

He also allegedly hit a Texas Department of Transportation worker who had stopped to see what was happening and ran to help. Moreno allegedly took his truck, according to CBS Texas

The 26-year-old was also seen jumping on people's cars and stomping on their windshields.

All three victims were taken to the hospital with injuries. Moreno was also taken to the hospital as a precaution and later booked into jail.

It is unclear if he has entered a plea at this time.

Moreno was taken into custody with the back of his shirt ripped up and his head bleeding.

The alleged criminal lost his contractor job in Dallas for unknown reason the day prior, according to NBC DFW.

'This guy jacking a car, hurting a nurse, stabbing somebody, bashing someone else’s windshield, I think the level that he had taken it to and the amount that he did in his wave of anger or whatever he may have been on, I think that makes the severity level a little bit worse,' Sethi told NBC DFW.
