A 'madam' who ran one of New York City's most infamous prostitution rings has found a new role - boosting Robert F. Kennedy Jr's presidential campaign.

Kristin Davis - who was embroiled in a prostitution scandal that took down former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer in 2008 - has been working as a political public relations specialist in a PAC supporting the candidate.

The self-proclaimed 'Manhattan Madam' revealed to Radar Online she is now the 'head advisor' of the political action committee supporting Kennedy.

Her role as a public relations specialist comes to light after Kennedy has been ensnared in a string of allegations and exposes, including his recent bizarre admission that he dumped a bear carcass in Central Park in 2014.

According to Mediaite, Davis is working for Kennedy's Common Sense PAC, and she said joining the PAC was 'driven by my deep belief in (Kennedy's) vision and potential as a candidate.'

She admitted to Radar that 'decisions' from her past 'still draw media attention today', which includes several stints in prison.

Most famously, she served four months at Riker's Island for promoting prostitution in 2008 after Spitzer was caught red handed with one of the prostitutes in her ring.

She was also sentenced to two years in jail in 2014 for selling prescription pills to a government informant.

But Davis insists that she has put her past behind her, and is now one of the most ardent supporters of Kennedy's presidential bid.

'My admiration for him is rooted in his personal journey, humility, and unwavering commitment to combating Big Pharma and Big Tech and improving children's health,' she said.

'His dedication to these vital issues makes him the right choice for a better future.'

Davis said her 'choices should not detract from my intelligence or my current work', which has also reportedly included work for former Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani.

'I have dedicated the last 16 years to political PR and strategy, representing many notable libertarian and right-wing personalities and working on three presidential campaigns,' she added.

Radar claimed that Davis contacted the outlet in response to a recent expose from Vanity Fair, where RFK Jr was accused of sexually assaulting his children's babysitter in 1998.

The article also included allegations that Kennedy ate a barbequed dog during a trip to Korea 14 years ago, which he claimed was actually a goat.

Shortly after Davis' involvement in the PAC was revealed, she took to Instagram to slam the attention on her, where she said she has 'encountered my fair share of grifters and scammers. Bobby Kennedy is the real deal.'

'Today, I'm proud to restate my support for Bobby and call for a unified front,' she said in the post.

'If Trump truly wants to win this election and bring real change, he must join forces with Bobby and make him head of HHS. Imagine the power of a Trump-Kennedy alliance campaigning under the banner of national units and genuine change.

'Picture Bobby Kennedy at the helm, cracking down on Big Pharma, halting the reckless promotion of unsafe vaccines, and overhauling the vaccine schedule to safeguard our children's health.

'Bobby is in it to win it, is Trump?'

After Davis' role in the Common Sense PAC made headlines, the head of the committee, Nate Porter, confirmed the former madam has been 'one of our top political advisors.'

'Kristin's political and public relations acumen has stood out to all of us that worked with her,' he told Mediaite - adding that Davis' past involvement in scandals is helping Kennedy's campaign.

'She has a gift of foresight in this arena,' he continued.

'From the perspective of professionalism and work product, Kristin's past did not hinder us in any way. If anything, her life experience of being in the spotlight of a media scandal gives her a perspective that few others have.'
