Country icon Zach Bryan fired back at critics and branded them 'pieces of trash' before deciding to ditch social media altogether and delete his accounts.

The 28-year-old Pink Skies hitmaker took to his Instagram Story to slam trolls who claimed that he was an example of kids who weren't disciplined alongside a photo of the star getting arrested for obstructing an investigation in 2023.

Following the post, which was shared by Instagram account Prime Time Country Music and has since been deleted, Zach let haters know how he really felt about their opinions.

In response, the singer claimed the world was 'worse' with the critics in it - before adding that he was 'tired of this s***.'

He demanded social media users tell him who was behind the cruel comment before giving trolls a clear set of instructions and deleting his account.

The post that got Zach fired up was a post from Prime Time Country, which featured a follower sharing a hot take on their 'PTCM Shots Fired' segment, according to Taste of Country

The critic said: 'Zach Bryan is what happens when you don't discipline your kids.'

The comment was shared alongside a photo of the star being arrested in 2023.

Zach responded to the troll via his Instagram Story and made it known that he had enough of people talking about him and his parents.

He wrote: 'Why are you calling yourself a country music site and posting s*** like this on it. As Nashville as it gets.

'I pray you pieces of trash that don't even have your name attached to these accounts know how much worse the world is with you in them.

'Don't ever insult my parents. Don't ever insult anyone's parents. If anyone knows who runs this account, please tell me. I'm so tired of this s***.'

Following his furious tirade, Zach deleted his Instagram and X, formerly known as Twitter, accounts.

The Something In The Orange hitmaker was launched into the spotlight following his collaboration with Kasey Musgraves on his 2023 hit I Remember Everything.

The song quickly rose to the top of charts, however, just one week after it reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Zach found himself restrained by police cuffs as his mug shot floated around.

In September, he was arrested in Oklahoma in connection with obstruction of an investigation.

He was held in custody in the Craig County Jail.

Following his release, he further explained the situation on X, formerly known as Twitter.

'Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said.

'I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize. They brought me to jail, and there is a mug shot of me floating around.
