A litter of young puppies are in good health after their cruel owner hurled them out of his car and into California bushes.
A volunteer dog walker with the Mission Viejo Animal Services (MVAS) Center discovered six male and four female puppies on July 24.
The dog walker found the puppies in a vinyl pool and immediately brought them to the center, according to an August 7 news release.
The person committed the heinous act at 2:30 in the morning, just hours before the dog walker found the puppies.
Police officers located the puppies' mother Molly, and they quickly reunited her with the babies

The dog walker found the puppies in a vinyl pool. They immediately brought them to MVAS, and its employees called the police
The person responsible dumped the puppies out in a California area that's been dubbed 'coyote country.'
Once the dog walker brought the puppies to the center, employees called the police to open an investigation.
Officers looked over surveillance footage taken that morning, which showed the culprit's vehicle, leading to their identification.
They requested an interview with the then-suspect and concluded that they were responsible for the puppy abandonment.
MVAS has filed animal cruelty charges against the criminal with the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
However, it is unclear how many charges the person responsible is facing, if any have been filed, and if they've obtained a lawyer.

Like her puppies, Molly is healthy, and she has been spending plenty of time with her babies at the center.
Employees have also named all the puppies: Chip, Caramel, Mint, Maple, Chocolate, Cookie Dough, Butterscotch, Cookies N Cream, Ripple, and Coffee.
The Dedicated Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) is paying for all the canines' medical needs, including spaying and neutering.
Molly and her puppies have bonded with one another every day for nearly six weeks, which, according to the MVAS, is the length of time dogs and cats should spend with their offspring.
Once the canines are strong and healthy, they will all be available for adoption.
Multiple Instagram users who commented on a video post claiming to be California residents have shown interest in adopting one or more of the dogs.

'This disturbing incident serves as a reminder that when residents are faced with the decision of whether or not to,' the City of Mission Viejo wrote in its release.
'Even if MVAS doesn’t have available room to accept the relinquished animal(s), the center has relationships with many organizations that can assist with placing pets.'
