Tragic update in case of missing Tulare woman Tiffany McClure

The body of a central California mother has been found in the ocean by the coast guard weeks after she vanished.

Tiffany McClure's body was discovered off the Coast of San Luis Obispo County during a routine patrol on Monday evening.

McClure, 47, went missing from Tulare, California on July 22, - two days before her white BMW was located in Morro Bay, a beach town in the San Luis Obispo county.

The vehicle, found over 130miles from where she was last spotted, was correctly parked, locked and secured.

Officials said there is no indication of foul play in McClure's death.

The Morro Bay Police Department, the San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office and the Morro Bay Harbor Patrol worked together to recover the body from the water.

An autopsy will be conducted by the sheriff's office, as reported by SFGATE.  

Authorities had previously said that McClure was voluntarily missing and had left by her own decision. 

Police have are yet to release additional details. 

McClure's cousin Kristin Collins told News Nation that she was separated from her husband and had become an empty nester after her daughter went to college. 

Her family reported her missing after not hearing from her for several days.

Many of McClure's loved ones have left tributes to her on social media since her body was recovered. 

McClure's stepmother Julie Zollo Hadden wrote on Facebook: 'With heavy heart... I was notified last night that my step-daughter, Tiffany McClure was located in the harbor at Morro Bay, CA. (Drowning) 

'Tiffany was reported missing two weeks ago. This has been extremely hard for the family. Please pray for peace! I love this beautiful girl with all my heart.'
