Frustration continues to cloud Team USA in the men's 4x100 relay after another disastrous finish at the Paris Olympics.
On Friday, the Americans were disqualified for an illegal pass after Christian Coleman crashed into teammate Kenny Bednarek while making the exchange between the first and second legs.
The tragic loss extended the USA's drought in the event to 20 years.
Meanwhile, sloppy passes of the baton have been the culprit for their losses in Beijing (2008), Rio de Janeiro (2016) and Tokyo (2021).
Bednarek and Coleman could not get on the same page during the handoff - which resulted in Coleman running into his teammate. Bednarek halted his run as he waited for the pass, as Coleman's momentum fast-tracked him directly to his recipient.

Following the loss, fans took to social media to slam the team's performance, particularly the pass between Coleman and Bednarek.
'Girls wear acrylic nails and hand it off better then that,' one user said.
'You'd think we'd fixed this after all the failed years!' said another.
'I swear someone put a hoodoo curse on them ages ago,' a third suggested. 'They need to make amends with whoever their predecessors offended.'
Even without Noah Lyles, who was out of the lineup due to COVID, this looked like America's race to lose.

Andre De Grasse anchored Canada to the gold medal with a time of 37.50 seconds
The only time the US captured a medal over the last two decades was in 2012, but that got stripped for a doping violation.
Andre De Grasse put a bright mark on an otherwise disappointing Olympics by anchoring Canada to gold in a time of 37.50 seconds. It was the first medal in Paris for De Grasse, but his seventh overall. South Africa finished second and Britain third.
As the men fell to history repeating itself, Sha´Carri Richardson won her first Olympic gold medal, bringing the Americans from behind in the anchor lap to capture the women's 4x100 relay.
