After her successes at the Olympics in Paris, Simone Biles will give fans a behind the scenes look at her time in Paris with her new Netflix series.
The series 'Simone Biles Rising' already had two episodes released on Netflix last month, with two more coming in the fall.
The already-released episodes detailed Biles time in Tokyo and her path back to her prime form for Paris.
Two more episodes will show her legendary run at this summer's Olympics.
'We're all going to watch her on the field of play. But those are two hours out of five or six days, so what's all the other time like?' producer Katie Walsh told PEOPLE.
Simone Biles' journey in Paris will be featured in upcoming episodes of her Netflix series
'It's been great to just be able to be a fly on the wall and just experience it a little bit through her eyes, which, I mean, there's no better person to experience the Olympics with,' Walsh continued.
One of the anticipated moments of the documentary is the moments after Biles officially made the Olympic team this year, leading up to her Paris debut.
'It's where all the athletes go and get their swag and all the goodies, and we got to meet her there,' Walsh added. 'We got to go through the whole experience with them as they try on the clothes, get the opening and closing ceremonies outfits, the jumpsuits they wear on the podium if they win a medal.'
'They get fitted for their official Olympic rings; all the stuff. That was just fun, especially for this team,' Walsh said.
One of the startling things for Walsh was watching every Team USA gymnast that was not Biles go through a non-pandemic Olympics for the first time.
Even with Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Jade Carey traveling to Tokyo for the Olympics three years ago, the process was much more stringent.
'They're all experiencing this for the first time and they're especially appreciative because they knew they missed it three years ago,' Walsh said. 'That was a really fun day to be a part of, and Simone's so funny.'
'She's laughing and making everyone laugh and kind of making fun of the clothes a little bit and just being goofy,' Walsh concluded. 'It's just so nice to spend time with her in that kind of environment, when there's not the weight of the world on her shoulders at that moment.'
