American soccer legend Megan Rapinoe was fired up for Team USA's women's Olympic soccer gold medal match against Brazil, loudly supporting her former team from the stands in Paris.
And it was a day to celebrate for Rapinoe with USA holding on to beat Brazil 1-0 and claim the gold medal. Mallory Swanson scored the decisive goal.
Donning her signature pink hair, Rapinoe was at the Parc des Princes, home to club team Paris Saint-Germain, for the Olympic final, having her last tournament action for the USWNT coming last year at the World Cup.
Rapinoe appeared in three Olympics for the United States, winning gold in 2012 in London.
The 39-year-old was also part of the team that did not take the podium four years later in Rio, and the bronze medalists from three years ago in Tokyo.

Rapinoe had been at odds in the past with current US Soccer star Korbin Albert, who started Saturday's final against Brazil over Rose Lavelle in the midfield.
Rapinoe was sat next to fellow USWNT legends Tobin Heath and Ali Krieger, with all three appearing at previous Olympics and World Cups for the United States.
Rapinoe is oddly famous for scoring the only two 'Olimpico' goals in Olympics history, meaning she booted the ball over the goal line from a taking a corner kick.
Albert's row with Rapinoe started in March when Albert shared an anti-LGBTQ social-media post to her TikTok.
The 20-year-old had previously shared a Christian sermon to the account, which discussed how being gay and 'feeling transgender' is wrong. The posts resurfaced at that time, sparking backlash from Rapinoe.
The retired player shared a post to her Instagram story addressed to 'the people who want to hide behind "my beliefs"' telling them to 'wake TF up!'
Famous movie star Tom Cruise is also in attendance for the USA-Brazil game in Paris
Rapinoe has been one of the outspoken, integral players of American soccer this century
Fellow US Soccer Olympian Tierna Davidson, who started the final against Brazil alongside Albert, also spoke out about her teammate's social-media posts.
Both Davidson and Rapinoe are members of the LGBTQ community.
'I think it's a difficult situation that has obviously affected me personally given what she was speaking on,' Davidson said on 'Good Game with Sarah Spain'. 'I think that it is something that you have to learn as a young player, especially with the platform that you're given is your beliefs or how you choose to express certain things is very public and people do look and listen.'
'Whether or not it's something you grew up with, or it was instilled upon you from a young age, and you might not know better, it is something that can hurt other people,' Davidson continued. 'I think that she has gone through a lot of learning since then and she has to continue to do that, as we all do as humans.'
Famous actor Tom Cruise is also in the French crowd.
