Dakota Johnson got out for a hike with her new dog in Malibu this weekend.
The Madame Web actress, 34, wore black bike shorts and a black sports bra as she walked her black German Shepherd mix through the lush landscape in the Malibu hills.
A ball cap kept her long brown ponytail under control and she wore sunglasses to protect her eyes from the glare of the sun.
She also had a t-shirt with her which she alternately carried or had tucked into the back of her shorts.
The Fifty Shades of Grey star wasn't wearing the emerald engagement ring from her fiancé Chris Martin – who is touring Europe with his band Coldplay – but that isn't unusual for the star, especially when she is working out.

The daughter of Don Johnson, 74, and Melanie Griffith, 67, wore a delicate necklace and kept her new dog on a short leash.
She and the Coldplay front man have been together for six years and got engaged earlier this year with the blessing of Martin's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, 52, and their kids Apple, 20, and Moses, 18.
Earlier this year, a source told The Mirror: 'The couple got engaged a while ago and have kept the news private. But now they are being open about it with their circles.
'They have been besotted with each other from day one so taking this next step was inevitable.'
Dakota was seen wearing an emerald ring on her wedding finger for the first time at her 34th birthday in LA last October.
The Social Network star also is eager to experience motherhood, saying: 'How do I feel about motherhood? I’m so open to that.
'I’ve gotten to this place where I really want to experience everything life has to offer,' she explained in an interview with Bustle in March.
'And especially being a woman, I’m like: ‘What a magical f***ing thing to do. What a crazy, magical, wild experience.
'If that’s meant to happen for me, I’m totally down for it. We’re not here for very long, so if I’m meant to be a mother, bring it on,' she said.
Last month The Peanut Butter Falcon star reunited with her stepfather, actor Antonio Banderas, 64.
She took the opportunity to visit her former step-father in Spain, where he is directing the musical They're Playing Our Song in his hometown, while Martin's band is touring Europe.

Johnson has had a close relationship with Banderas most of her life.
The Mask of Zorro star married Johnson's mother when she was six and was her step-father until the couple divorced in 2015.
When Banderas received the Hollywood Actor Award at the Hollywood Film Awards in 2019, Johnson praised her 'Paponio' saying he 'taught me about true passion and discipline.'

She also praised him for accepting her and older brother, Alexander, 38, whom Griffith shares with former husband Steven Bauer.
'My stepfather Antonio Banderas burst into our lives. He was so vibrant and so fun and so funny, and his English was abstract.
'We found it absolutely amazing. He loved my mother and my siblings and I so fiercely, and so big and so loud that it would change all of our lives forever,' she said.
