Sometimes, it's hard to even get out of bed, let alone workout when you're on your period.
And the last thing you want to deal with when you're on your cycle is pesky fees if you decide to skip out on a gym session.
Now, menstrual hygiene brand U by Kotex is offering to cover the cancelation fees for women who skip workout classes last minute due to period cramps.
Starting Tuesday, August 13, consumers can enter for a chance to be reimbursed $30 to 'cover a previously missed class or to put towards a future class they may need to cancel,' the brand said in a press release.
Known as the Cramp Clause, the initiative supports 'U by Kotex's mission of normalizing period symptoms and encouraging women to do what is best for them in the moment, without penalty.'

'U by Kotex believes that women should have some flow flexibility when a workout just isn't in the cards due to period symptoms,' a representative for the brand told DailyMail.com.
'Every period is different, and symptoms can vary. For those who don't feel up to a workout due to unexpected cramps and menstrual pain, that's OK.'
To be selected, women must also be following the @UbyKotex Instagram account and include the #CrampClauseSweepstakes hashtag in a comment.
Five-hundred participants will be selected at random on September 3, 2024 to receive reimbursements.
It's previously been reported by the U.S. Office of Women's Health that working out can actually help your period cramps.
'Researchers have found that some women have fewer painful cramps during menstruation if they exercise regularly,' it said.
But that doesn't mean you're always going to feel up for it, and if you don't, that's completely normal.
Thankfully, menstrual hygiene brand Kotex is offering to help if you've been hit with a penalty cost for canceling an exercise lesson last minute due to being on your period
Dr. Christopher Holligsworth previously told Healthline that your period could make you feel much more lethargic, making it harder to hit the gym.
'Both progesterone and estrogen are at their lowest during the entire length of the period phase of the menstrual cycle, which can make people feel tired and less energetic,' she said.
If you do decide to hit the gym while on your period, Health.com recommended you focused on low-intensity exercises like yoga, stretching and tai chi.
In addition, cardio workouts like walking or running 'can help shorten the duration and decrease the severity of symptoms like bloating and cramps that can occur before and during your period.'
