Dr. Dre has carved out an incredibly successful career in music - but now he wants to try and enter the next Olympics.

After watching the Paris Games, the 59-year-old rapper and producer is tempted to try his hand at competitive archery.

'I'm deada** serious,' he said on Entertainment Tonight.

Dr. Dre explained that he first picked up the sport in middle school and now practices in his backyard.

'I stopped for a while and my son bought me a set up... so I have it set up in my backyard,' he said.

'And I heard that qualifying for the Olympics is 77 feet, and I practice at 90. Wouldn't that be interesting to go? Especially with it being here in LA, and win a gold medal.

He added, 'I feel like I can do anything.'

The Beats by Dre founder also sounded off on the Olympics' breakdancing debacle, as Australian dancer Raygun went viral for her disastrous routines, which failed to score a single point against her three opponents.

'I did not like that. It's so many great break dancers and I don't know why they had this particular person doing that,' Dr. Dre said.

'It was funny, I got some laughs out of it. But what the f***?.... I don't know how that happened.'

The 36-year-old's controversial performance featured kangaroo hopping, slithering like a snake and even using the iconic Aussie 'sprinkler' move.

Since her routine, it's also come to light that she also holds a PhD in her sport, and is a lecturer at Macquarie University in Australia.

Critics have questioned how she was able to qualify for the Olympics, though the dancer - whose real name is Rachael Gunn - has shared a post online that said  'don't be afraid to be different.'

Regardless, she won't be involved in the 2028 Olympics as it's been announced that breakdancing won't feature at the LA Games.
