The staggering number of illegal immigrants the Biden administration had marked for deportation that ended up STAYING

Thousands of migrants who entered the U.S. illegally with their families and were put into a deportation program have been allowed to stay by the Biden administration.

According to a shocking new report, Biden has allowed 90 percent of migrants put into the Family Expedited Removal Management (FERM) program to remain in the U.S. instead of being deported.

Only 2,600 out of a total of 24,000 migrants enrolled in the program have actually been deported, according to a New York Post report. That leaves over 21,000 who were allowed to stay in the U.S.

And since FERM began in May 2023, over 840,000 migrants traveling in family units have been apprehended by authorities at the border, according to ICE data reviewed by the House Homeland Security Committee.

This means just a fraction of illegal migrants coming into the U.S. with their families were removed via the FERM program.

A bombshell report released Tuesday indicates that a Biden administration deportation program has allowed 90 percent of migrants to remain in the U.S.

It wasn't immediately clear why every family unit wasn't immediately placed into FERM removal proceedings.

The flawed program is now catching the attention of top lawmakers in Congress, who are demanding action.

'The same White House that is letting millions of illegals into our country is also refusing to deport them,' Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson posted on X in response to the bombshell report.

'The Biden-Harris Administration has no intention of enforcing our laws. No amount of spin can cover it up.'

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green, R-Tenn., also bashed the Biden administration for the badly-run border security program.

'These numbers are further proof that the Biden-Harris administration's policies have nothing to do with actually securing the border or enforcing the law, but instead masking its utter refusal to do either of those things.'

'Such a dismal rate of removals makes clear that President Biden, 'border czar' Kamala Harris, and now-impeached DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas are committed to ignoring U.S. immigration law, while attempting to hide that fact from the American people.'

President Joe Biden took criticism from Republicans outraged by the report. They accused Biden of hiding the effects of his border policies from the American people and said the president has no intention of enforcing immigration laws

'Ultimately, these individuals have a simple responsibility—detain and remove those who have no lawful basis to remain. You don't need new programs to do that, just a respect for the law.'

The FERM program also promised to 'place certain heads of household for family units on Alternatives to Detention (ATD) technology — a GPS ankle monitor — for continuous monitoring and make them subject to a curfew,' according to ICE.

The agency hoped the program would highlight the 'consequences for unlawful entry to the U.S.,' the ICE site says

But those repercussions are few and far between.

And this is just the latest loosened immigration policy promoted by the White House.

Earlier this summer, Biden opened up another path to citizenship for nearly half a million migrants illegally in the U.S.

The policy, implemented in June, gives roughly 490,000 spouses of U.S. citizens an opportunity to apply for a 'parole in place' program, which would shield them from deportations and offer them work permits if they have lived in the country for at least 10 years.

Biden suggested the election year move was happening this summer to prevent some of the deportations that Trump has pledged should he be victorious in the fall.

ICE did not immediately return a request for comment.
